Paulo to South Africa.
Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber's Tony Award®-winning musical returns to the Fox Theatre October 8-20.
Eva Perón used her beauty and charisma to rise meteorically from the
slums of Argentina to the presidential mansion as First Lady. Adored by
her people as a champion for the poor, she became one of the most
powerful women in the world. EVITA tells Eva Perón’s passionate
and unforgettable true story, and features some of theater's most
beautiful songs, including "Don't Cry for Me Argentina," "Another
Suitcase in Another Hall" and "High Flying, Adored." The production will
star Caroline Bowman (Kinky Boots) as Eva Peron, Tony nominee Josh Young (Jesus Christ Superstar) as Che and Sean MacLaughlin (Woman in White) as Juan Perón. EVITA is presented by Dance St. Louis.
Based
on the Academy Award-winning animated feature film, this eye-popping
spectacle has won the hearts of over 35 million people worldwide. This
classic musical love story is filled with unforgettable characters,
lavish sets and costumes, and dazzling production numbers including “Be
Our Guest” and the beloved title song. Disney’s BEAUTY AND THE BEAST will play the Fox Theatre November 1-3. Fox Performing Arts Charitable Foundation will present Kids Night at the Fox
Friday, November 1. A free child’s ticket will be offered with the
