New DVD Captures the Ultimate Concert Experience

Los Angeles, CA (November 20, 2012) - Rock superstar Meat Loaf is kicking off the holiday season with the release of the Guilty Pleasure Tour DVD (Concert One Ltd.). A special DVD/CD version is available exclusively at Wal-Mart. Captured during his sold-out Australian tour, the Guilty Pleasure Tour DVD features 13-tracks--including a blend of the award-winning singer’s classic hits and material from his latest few albums. It also contains a bonus documentary with an in-depth Meat Loaf interview.

“On the Guilty Pleasure Tour DVD Meat Loaf gives his fans exactly what they are wanting to see. He really does put 110% into his shows and this one features his HUGE performance, backed by his brilliant band, The Neverland Express,” says Concert One President Steve Timmins.

The Guilty Pleasure Tour DVD presents the most technologically advanced filming of a Meat Loaf concert ever.  With the use of 15 Hi-Def cameras and cranes as well as stationary and remote cameras, viewers will experience the performance almost as if they were on the stage themselves.  “The viewer gets to see what he or she would normally never see from being in the audience,” Meat Loaf explains.  “(They see) the hands, the fingers, the facial expressions, the intensities; those kinds of things. That is what we were going for, to make the DVD different than the live show. The viewer gets to live in a different world,” he adds.

Born Michael Lee Aday in Texas, Meat Loaf exploded onto the international music scene in 1977, with the release of his breakout album, Bat Out Of Hell, which has sold more than 43 million copies and is among the five top-selling albums of all time. Hell In A Hand Basket is his latest CD. Meat Loaf has performed on Broadway and starred in numerous Hollywood films, including Rocky Horror Picture Show and Fight Club.
