JOURNEY - Neal Schon (founding member and lead guitarist), Ross Valory (co-founding member
and bassist), longtime members Jonathan Cain (keyboardist) & Steve Smith (drummer), and Arnel
Pineda (lead singer) – have set an extensive North American tour in 2020 with the PRETENDERS
that will feature all new production and hits from start to finish. The 60+ date tour, produced by Live
Nation, begins Friday, May 15, through Saturday, September 12, and tickets go on sale Friday,
November 8, at 10 AM. All times are local.
Fans can expect to hear iconic Journey classics such as “Lights,” “Faithfully,” “Any Way You Want
It,” “Open Arms,” “Wheel In The Sky,” “Separate Ways (Worlds Apart),” and the seminal “Don’t Stop
Believin’,” which is the top-selling digital catalog track in history, as well as Pretenders’ hits such as
“I’ll Stand By You,” “Back On The Chain Gang,” “Brass In Pocket,” “Don’t Get Me Wrong,” “2000
Miles,” “My City Was Gone,” “Middle of the Road,” and many more.

PRETENDERS cross the bridge between punk, new wave and pop music like no other band, with
genre-defining songs like “I'll Stand By You,” “Back On The Chain Gang” and “Don't Get Me Wrong.”
The band has sold over 25 million albums and founder & leader Chrissie Hynde is one of
contemporary music's greatest songwriters. Chrissie’s 2015 memoir Reckless: My Life As a
Pretender, was hailed by the New York Times upon its release as "honest and distinctive… a love
letter to rock and roll."
After delivering 2016’s unflinchingly head-strong Alone album (produced by
the Black Keys’ Dan Auerbach), the Pretenders continue to tour worldwide.
JOURNEY is one of the most popular American rock bands of all time, creating some of the bestknown songs in modern music. Since the group’s formation in 1973, the band has earned 19 top 40
singles and 25 Gold and Platinum albums and has sold nearly 100 million albums globally.
Their
Greatest Hits album is certified 15 times-Platinum, bringing Journey into the elite club of Diamondcertified award holders.
The band continues to tour and record into the 21st century, performing

touring award. 2018’s massive co-headlining tour with Def Leppard was the band’s most successful

In March 2019, Journey released
a live DVD/CD set from their concert at the Budokan in Tokyo, featuring the first-ever performances

TYLER CHILDERS CONFIRMS 2020 “A GOOD LOOK’N TOUR” WITH STURGILL SIMPSON

NEW ALBUM COUNTRY SQUIRE RELEASED TO WIDESPREAD CRITICAL ACCLAIM
Acclaimed singer, songwriter and musician Tyler Childers will tour extensively throughout 2020 as part of the newly confirmed “A Good Look’n Tour” with Sturgill Simpson. The tour kicks off February 21 at Birmingham’s Legacy Arena at the BJCC and will continue through the spring including stops at Lexington’s Rupp Arena, Los Angeles’ The Forum, Washington DC’s The Anthem (two nights), George, WA’s The Gorge Amphitheatre, Chicago’s United Center, New York’s Madison Square Garden and Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena among several others. Tickets for the tour go on-sale next Friday, November 8 at 10:00am local time.
Ahead of the “A Good Look’n Tour” dates, Childers will continue his sold-out “Country Squire Run” headline tour this year with upcoming stops at New York’s Brooklyn Steel (two nights), Chicago’s Aragon Ballroom, Atlanta’s Tabernacle (two nights) and Boston’s House of Blues among several others. Additionally, he will perform three special shows at Pikeville, KY’s Appalachian Wireless Arena on December 27, December 28 and December 31 and will make his headline debut at Nashville’s historic Ryman Auditorium with four special sold-out shows next year: February 6, February 7, February 15 and February 16. These performances add to a landmark year for Childers, whose critically acclaimed new album Country Squire debuted at #1 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart with over 32,000 equivalent units sold. In addition to Childers (vocals, acoustic guitar), the album features a number of world-renowned musicians including Stuart Duncan (fiddle, mandolin, banjo), Miles Miller (drums, background vocals) and Russ Pahl (acoustic guitar, electric guitar, pedal steel, Jaw harp, baritone).

The release of Country Squire continues a series of breakout years for the Kentucky-native, whose critically acclaimed debut album, Purgatory, was released in 2017. The record—also produced by Sturgill Simpson and David Ferguson—landed on multiple “Best of 2017” lists including NPR Music, Rolling Stone, Noisey, The Bluegrass Situation, Wide Open Country and The Boot. Of the album, NPR Music raves “the intimacy he conjures is his gift, in this private moment made universal, and throughout his remarkable official debut,” while Pitchfork declares “it’s his voice, peppered with both the knowledge of the ages and the innocence of youth, that makes a song…so effective. Then it’s the lyrics, a mix of plain-talk honesty and beguiling metaphors, that tip the scales to timeless.” Since his debut, Childers was named “Emerging Artist of the Year” at the 2018 Americana Music Association Honors & Awards and has been featured on NPR Music’s Tiny Desk Concert series and Anthony Bourdain: Parts Unknown.
