GRAMMY WINNING ARTIST, JOHN BERRY, RELEASES HEARTFELT OFFICIAL VIDEO FOR “THE RICHEST MAN”

First Single Off Thomas Road Dedicated to His Dad
Watch the official video to "The Richest Man" here
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (March 25, 2019) -- Grammy winning singer/songwriter, John Berry, has released a heartfelt and personal song from his latest project, Thomas Road. The endearing single entitled, "The Richest Man,” was released with an exclusive announcement in Billboard Magazine on Friday. The song is dedicated to his dad who taught him that the most valuable things in life typically had very little to do with money. Watch the official video here.

“We wanted this to be personal and tell a story,” Berry tells Billboard, “to create a meaningful video to honor those who enriched our lives with the values, and put priority on the things in life that truly have lasting meaning.”

“The lyric paints a picture of two men -- one who is wealthy by the world’s standards, but dies alone, and the other an average Joe, who is rich in love, family and community respect,” writes Deborah Evans Price, Billboard Magazine.

“It is with a grateful heart for a dad that loved me and showed me what was important in life that I dedicate this work to my father, Jim Berry, and to other fathers that walked before and after him, that strove to make their children’s lives full and rich in what really mattered, faith, family, and friends,” said John Berry.

Going back to his roots, the EP, “Thomas Road,” is named after the street he grew up on in Decatur, GA and where his passion and love for music took a hold of his desire to become a recording artist.

“I was fortunate to grow up in a home where music was always celebrated. The sounds of gospel, classical, country or pop were always present, but it was the latter years of elementary school into high school that were a significant time for me. Carole King wove "Tapestry," John Denver came down a "Country Road," Cat Stevens rode in on a " Peace Train" and I began playing the guitar,” stated John Berry in the liner notes. “Listening to a white AM radio on the shop table in my dad's garage helped me to dream bigger than who I was. The music drew me in and I had to be a part of it... it was a part of me. With my dad's encouragement and help, we built a little studio in the basement of our house and I recorded my first four albums there. The fire inside me grew. I am beyond grateful for the inspiration I found in family, friends and music on Thomas Road. All those memories keep calling me back home to Thomas Road.”

It is no surprise that John Berry quickly sells out venues all over the country.  The Entertainment Nexus once described the award-winning entertainer as "one of the most remarkable voices in music."

The music is available on digital formats for streaming and download

About John Berry:
GRAMMY Award-winning country star John Berry continues to celebrate the 25th anniversary since signing his first record deal and has recently charted at #30 on the Music Row Breakout Charts with the single, “Beautifully Broken,” which is featured in the soundtrack for the upcoming movie of the same name. Berry has placed 20 singles on the country hit parade charts, six of which went Top 5 as well as a No. 1 on the Billboard and Radio & Records country charts. He has earned numerous Gold and Platinum records. Berry's co-written "A Mind Of Her Own" and "Kiss Me In The Car" introduced him to radio audiences in 1993. Then, "Your Love Amazes Me," "What's In It For Me" and "You And Only You" thrust him to stardom in 1994. "Standing On The Edge Of Goodbye," "I Think About It All The Time," and "If I Had Any Pride Left At All" were all major hits the following year. "Your Love Amazes Me" earned Berry a 1995 GRAMMY nomination. In 1996, he scored a GRAMMY win for his participation in Amazing Grace: A Country Salute to Gospel Vol. 1. Berry took "Change My Mind" into the country music Top 5 in that same year. "She's Taken A Shine" became an even bigger hit in 1997. The same year, he was nominated for CMA Vocal Event of the Year for "Long Haired Country Boy" with Charlie Daniels and Hal Ketchum. Both fans and the media took note when "There He Goes" was released as a 1999 duet with Patsy Cline. Berry's two most recent albums, What I Love The Most and his holiday album, Christmas, are both available now on his website as well as iTunes and other digital retailers.  Berry's TV show, Songs & Stories with John Berry, airs weekly on Heartland Television, The Family Channel, The Country Network, Roku (via Heartland), AMG TV, Country TV (New Zealand), and Keep It Country TV (UK). DANIELLE BRADBERY MAKES A SPLASH WITH SHALLOW

Featuring Parker McCollum, New Version of the Academy-Award Winning Song
Available Now

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Known for her stunning renditions of some of today’s most popular music, Danielle Bradbery has released her version of Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper’s “Shallow.” The song is available everywhere now and features Parker McCollum trading vocals with the ACM New Female Vocalist of the Year nominee. The iconic film inspired Bradbery so much that she immediately wanted to put her special spin on the OSCAR-winning tune. Listen HERE.

“When I heard ‘Shallow’ from A Star is Born for the first time, I was blown away. The lyrics, arrangement, Gaga’s voice and the emotion…I was just speechless,” shares Bradbery. “Yet as a singer, I couldn’t wait to find a partner to record this song with.”

In December, the Texas native was back home in Houston and attended one of McCollum’s shows. Seeing the crowd’s reaction to her fellow Texan’s performance, Bradbery felt he was the right person for this project. The duo stepped into a Nashville studio with producer Dann Huff and the results are enviable.

About Danielle Bradbery
“Shallow” is the follow-up to Bradbery’s popular “Yours Truly: 2018” series featuring her take on Ariana Grande’s “God is a Woman,” Post Malone’s “Psycho” and Kacey Musgraves’ “Slow Burn.” The cover tracks shadow her sophomore album I Don’t Believe We’ve Met on BMLG Records. As the title suggests, Bradbery re-introduced herself after taking time since her debut LP to focus on the writing process. For the first time truly infusing her own story into her songs, Bradbery penned seven of the album’s 10 tracks. Lead single “Sway” perfectly combined her R&B, Soul and Country influences, while empowering follow-up anthem “Worth It” led to national TV performances of the emotional tune on NBC’s “TODAY” and “The Voice.” Bradbery recently returned to the radio airwaves with “Goodbye Summer,” a fresh take on album cut “Hello Summer” with Thomas Rhett adding a male perspective to the seasonal story of love and heartbreak. Bradbery has been fine-tuning her unique sound since winning Season 4 of NBC’s “The Voice” and has since garnered multiple ACM nominations as well as being up for CMT Breakthrough Video of the Year and CMT Performance of the Year. She is currently touring fairs and festivals across the country and abroad after kicking off the year on Kane Brown’s Live Forever Tour.

"Dwight Yoakam has sold more than 25 million albums worldwide, and he is a 21-time nominated, multiple GRAMMY Award winner. He has 12 gold albums and 9 platinum or multi-platinum albums, with five of those albums topping Billboard’s Country Albums chart and another 14 landing in the Top 10. Nearly 40 of Yoakam’s singles have charted on Billboard, with 14 peaking in the Top 10. He is also the recipient of the Artist of the Year award from the Americana Music Association, the most prestigious award offered by the organization. Yoakam’s self-curated SiriusXM channel, titled Dwight Yoakam and The Bakersfield Beat ‘Where Country Went Mod’, will launch in late April. The channel celebrates the Bakersfield sound and those whom it has inspired. In 2016, Yoakam released his bluegrass album Swimmin’ Pools, Movie Stars… on Sugar Hill Records. Featuring a band of bluegrass luminaries, this album boasts a collection of reinterpreted favorites from his catalogue, as well as a cover of Prince’s “Purple Rain.” Produced by nine-time GRAMMY winner Gary Paczosa (Alison Krauss, Dolly Parton), Jon Randall (songwriter of “Whiskey Lullaby”), and Yoakam himself, and mixed by Chris Lord-Alge, this album reflects the love for bluegrass music that Yoakam developed at an early age in Kentucky and that has inspired him for many years thereafter. With ten multi-platinum albums and 16 Top 30 hits, FOREIGNER is universally hailed as one of the most popular rock acts in the world with a formidable musical arsenal that continues to propel sold-out tours and album sales, now exceeding 80 million.
Responsible for some of rock and roll’s most enduring anthems including “Juke Box Hero,” “Cold As Ice,” “Hot Blooded,” “Waiting For A Girl Like You,” “Feels Like The First Time,” “Urgent,” “Head Games,” “Say You Will,” “Dirty White Boy,” “Long, Long Way From Home” and the worldwide #1 hit, “I Want To Know What Love Is,” FOREIGNER still rocks the charts more than 40 years into the game with massive airplay and continued Billboard Top 200 album success. Streams of FOREIGNER’s hits are approaching 10 million per week.
Founded in 1976, FOREIGNER‘s debut album produced the hits “Feels Like The First Time,” “Cold As Ice” and “Long, Long Way From Home.” The album Double Vision followed, as did a string of hits including “Urgent,” “Juke Box Hero” and “Waiting For A Girl Like You.” Those songs helped give FOREIGNER‘s next album, 4, its impressive run at #1 on the Billboard chart. At the zenith of 80’s sound, FOREIGNER‘s fifth album, Agent Provocateur, gave the world the incredible #1 global hit,” I Want To Know What Love Is.” This musical milestone followed the record-breaking song “Waiting For A Girl Like You.”
At FOREIGNER‘s core is the founder and Songwriters Hall of Fame member Mick Jones, the visionary maestro whose stylistic songwriting, indelible guitar hooks and multi-layered talents continue to escalate FOREIGNER‘s influence and guide the band to new horizons.
Jones reformed the band after a 2002 hiatus and selected lead singer Kelly Hansen to help write an inspired new chapter in the history of FOREIGNER. One of rock’s greatest showmen, Hansen is among the most respected, consummate professionals in rock and roll. With a 35-year career
that spans almost every area of music, from the role of lead vocalist to producing and engineering, Hansen has led FOREIGNER into the digital age while inspiring a whole new generation of fans.
FOREIGNER’s current lineup also includes multi-instrumentalist Tom Gimbel, noted bassist Jeff Pilson, Michael Bluestein on keyboards, guitarist Bruce Watson and Chris Frazier on drums. An unprecedented new level of energy led the group to a re-emergence of astounding music that
speaks to FOREIGNER‘s enduring popularity.
With renewed vitality and direction, FOREIGNER hit the Billboard charts again with the 2005 release of their live Greatest Hits album, Extended Versions. Can’t Slow Down followed in 2009 and entered the Billboard chart in the Top 30, driven by two Top 20 radio singles, “In Pieces” and “When It Comes To Love.” To follow was the release of the band’s three-disc set, Feels Like The First Time, which included an acoustic CD with an intimate and unique re-interpretation of many FOREIGNER classics, studio re-records by the new lineup and a live performance DVD showcasing the group’s exceptional live energy.

When local Austin, TX native Tameca Jones opens her mouth and sings, jaws hit ground. Her honeyed and powerful vocals have been captivating her hometown for a little over ten years. Tameca made a name for herself as the “Queen of Austin Soul,” blowing minds with her tasteful and vibrant interpretations of a diverse list of artists that include Tina Turner, Nirvana, Elton John, Jimi Hendrix, and more. The Austin Chronicle called her interpretations “sonic pretzels” that “juxtapose(s) crunchy jaggedness with her infectious, honeyed voice.” Her WTF ability to go from soulful wailing to silky coos has won her devoted fans, accolades, and some high profile situations opening for Austin super stars Gary Clark Jr., Max Frost, Bob Schneider and other big touring acts. She received major love from Billboard Magazine for her white hot performance at the 2015 Austin Music Awards, where she paid tribute to late beloved musician Ian McLagan alongside legends like Steven Van Zandt, Charlie Sexton, Alejandro Escovedo, and Patty Griffin. Billboard said she “raised the roof,” while The Austin Chronicle called her performance “showstopping.” Guitar deity and fellow Austinite Gary Clark Jr., who faithfully attended Tameca’s shows whenever he was in town, asked her to sing on the song “Wings” for his latest album, The Story of Sonny Boy Slim. Rolling Stone called the song a “slinky duet,” while Andy Langer for Esquire Magazine called the song one of the best songs in the month of September and noted that “the tweaky processing of Austin soul starlet Tameca Jones’ voice adds an early-Parliament-like trippiness.” Tameca Jones is set to release her highly anticipated debut EP in spring 2019. There is little doubt that she will soon be the next big name to break out of Texas.

Listen here. “Lo/Hi” was written and produced by Dan Auerbach and Patrick Carney, and recorded at Nashville’s Easy Eye Sound studio. Rolling Stone named the track a “Song You Need to Know” and said, “the Keys have officially returned, louder than ever” and the New York Times calls the song “the kind of garageboogie stomp that the band never left behind.” Additionally, GQ magazine included “Lo/Hi” in its list of Songs You Need to Hear This Week and called it “a snarling and immediate little slice of heaven from the Ohio rock stars.”
Formed in Akron, Ohio in 2001, The Black Keys have released eight studio albums: their debut The Big Come Up (2002), followed by Thickfreakness (2003) and Rubber Factory (2004), along with their releases on Nonesuch Records, Magic Potion (2006), Attack & Release (2008), Brothers (2010), El Camino (2011), and, most recently, Turn Blue (2014). The band has won six Grammy Awards and headlined festivals including Coachella, Lollapalooza, and Governors Ball.

Since their last album together, both Auerbach and Carney have been creative forces behind a number of wide-ranging artists:
Dan Auerbach formed the Easy Eye Sound record label, named after his Nashville studio, in 2017, with the release of his second solo album, Waiting on a Song.  Since its launch, Easy Eye Sound has become home to a wide range of artists including Yola, Shannon & The Clams, Dee White, Shannon Shaw, Sonny Smith, Robert Finley, and The Gibson Brothers; it also has released the posthumous album by Leo Bud Welch as well as previously unreleased material by Link Wray.
Patrick Carney has produced and recorded new music with artists such as Calvin Johnson, Michelle Branch, Damns of the West, Tobias Jesso, Jr., Jessy Wilson, Tennis, Repeat Repeat, Wild Belle, Sad Planets, Turbo Fruits, and more.  He also created the theme music for the Netflix TV show BoJack Horseman with his late uncle, Ralph Carney.
