Butcher Babies Announce North American Spring Dates

Playing Direct Support To In This Moment On "Black Widow" Tour

Band To Release New Full Length Album This Fall
The BUTCHER BABIES have just completed work on their much-anticipated sophomore full-length album with renowned producer Logan Mader (Five Finger Death Punch, Gojira). The new offering is set for a fall release through Century Media Records

They will join up with In This Moment on April 18th in Montclair, NJ for a massive, five week North American tour with Upon A Burning Body and The Nearly Deads, which will be preceded by a slew of dates alongside Upon A Burning Body. See below for all dates and head over to www.facebook.com/butcherbabiesmusic for all additional information
Heidi Shepherd (vocals) states: "This upcoming tour is really special to us. Not only do we get to see so many of our friends that we have accumulated around the country through our music, but it’s also our first chance to play some songs off of the new album. Our fans have been so patient waiting for new music. In true Butcher Babies fashion we never do anything half-assed, so it took a little while. Playing these songs on this tour will be a little treat for our dedicated fan base. Also, to be back out with In This Moment is a huge honor. They have been so supportive of us and they put on an incredible live show."
"To all the BUTCHER BABIES fans old and new, you’ve inspired us so much throughout the years. After every show, we do a free meet and greet at our merch booth. Be sure to come stop by and say hello. We would be honored to meet you."

Carla Harvey (vocals) further adds: "It is crazy to think that this will be our ninth big national tour since our first big tour in mid 2012.  We feel like old road dogs now as we recognize all the truck stop showers and coffee shops all across the states. However, the best thing about touring is seeing all the familiar faces in the crowd. Our fans have become dear friends over the last few years and every night feels like a family reunion at our after show merch booth meet and greets."

Henry Flury (guitars) says: “Every time we pass through a city we see more and more faces screaming along to the lyrics to our songs. You guys have no idea how that makes us feel. Now we have a few new face melting surprises in store for you guys and we can't wait to see you sweat it out with us in the pit!"

Tyler’s first project is expected to be released later this year on Dot Records.

Tyler joins global entertainers Taylor Swift, Tim McGraw, Reba, Rascal Flatts, Florida Georgia Line, The Band Perry, The Mavericks, Martina McBride and Ronnie Dunn as well as chart-toppers Eli Young Band, Brantley Gilbert, Justin Moore, Thomas Rhett; breakout duo Maddie & Tae in addition to rising entertainers The Cadillac Three, RaeLynn, A Thousand Horses, Cassadee Pope, Drake White, Danielle Bradbery, Levi Hummon, Seth Alley and Waterloo Revival.

‘THE VOICE’ FINALIST NICHOLAS DAVID BRINGS FRESH HEART AND SOUL TO FANS WITH NEW EP, MAKE HOPE
Playing Blueberry Hill's Duck Room April 26

St. Paul, MN--During his 2012 appearance on NBC’s hit talent show “The Voice,” season finalist Nicholas David wowed the crowd with his vocal flexibility—taking on covers of everything from Jimi Hendrix to Corrine Bailey Rae for an ultimate 3rd-place finish. However, what resonated most with the audience was his undeniable old-school and old-fashioned soul, which has been a common thread throughout his career and showcased to perfection on his latest EP, Make Hope.

This project, which marks the Minnesotan singer-songwriter’s seventh overall, is a smooth and deep study of emotion backed by David’s confident command of soul, R&B, and rock ‘n’ roll. Its six tracks offer a glimpse into the journey, both personally and professionally, that David has been taking over the past couple of years.

Make Hope was inspired by David’s connection to the Midwest.  More specifically, he wanted to attempt capturing the regional heart and family values of Midwestern people.  And, trying to carry those values to Hollywood and back,” he notes--which anyone familiar with showbiz knows is a formidable task.

However, David is up for the challenge of spreading a message of love and inspiration wherever he travels. “When your dreams turn to reality, the journey takes steam and gathers a new momentum.”

David doesn’t shirk family values of his own, as several of the compositions on Make Hope are directly inspired by and dedicated to his relatives. “’Monsters Sleep”—a song he terms an “R&B lullaby”—“and ‘Fresh’ are songs to my family saying even though I'm not physically there I'm there in their hearts with a love "as big as the sky and into outer space.’”

And, “The last tune, ‘Something Big,’ is a melody I wrote being with my grandfather as he was dying,” Nicholas relates. “I share his gift of music, and my hands are his hands.”

“It's a blessed road to walk and live out your dreams, but with that comes a great responsibility,” David says. “I feel to the core of my being that's what make hope is all about.”

His goal is to reach all music lovers with music that touches them at their core.

“I feel that's what my fans resonate with,” he notes. “Music from the heart, for the heart.”

David and his band will be touring in support of Make Hope throughout 2015.

If you are true to yourself then people will appreciate you for who you are!"

The band spent much of 2013 on the road touring with 10 Years and UK favorite Young Guns. The band has shared stages with acts such as AWOLNATION, 311, Sublime with Rome, Hoobastank, Chevelle and many more. The guys spent most of 2014 playing local shows in Houston, writing the new record and putting the focus on revamping their sound and image. Lost Element plans to hit the road hard in 2015 to push their new album Stereo Dream on the road as well as the airwaves. The album was produced and mixed by up and comer Bryce Bordone who, for the last 5 years, has been studying closely under 8 time Grammy award winning Mixer Serban Ghenea (Mark Ronson, Maroon 5, Taylor Swift, Rixton). Be on the lookout for them in 2015!

The New Track Hits Country Radio and Digital Retailers Today

Photo Courtesy of The Valory Music Co.
Nashville, TN (April 7, 2015) – ACM New Artist of the Year nominee Thomas Rhett segues as Billboard's first male country artist to chart three #1 hits from a debut album in over 20 years to his upcoming sophomore effort on Valory Music Co. with the release of the upbeat breakup anthem “Crash And Burn” today. Available at Country Radio, fans can also pick up the lead single at all digital retailers now.

“The first time I heard this song, I immediately loved the paradox of how happy it sounds even though the lyrics are about a guy who loses out in love,” said Thomas Rhett. “It’s also definitely one of the most vocally challenging songs I’ve ever recorded. But, for the new album I really wanted to try new things, to stretch myself and explore that side of my sound.”

Co-produced by Dann Huff and Jesse Frasure, “Crash And Burn” was written by Frasure and Chris Stapleton who also provides background vocals complimenting Thomas Rhett’s signature swagger. The track showcases Thomas Rhett’s unique take on Country music while simultaneously emitting “vintage Motown, R&B vibes” (Rolling Stoneand "serious soul power” (CMT).

“At the forefront of young Country singers” (Tampa Bay Times), Thomas Rhett leads the pack as one of country music’s elite new artists who can count three consecutive #1's from his debut album, more than 3.8 million digital downloads and over 150 “high-energy all the way” (El Paso Times) live shows a year. He has proven to be a natural trailblazer, earning New Artist of the Year nominations from both the CMA and upcoming 50th Annual ACM Awards on April 19, where he is also slated to perform. Currently, fans can catch Thomas Rhett’s “undeniable" live show as direct support for Florida Georgia Line’s ANYTHING GOES TOUR 2015 and in select markets as a headliner this year. For updates on new music and for a full list of upcoming tour dates, visit

The new album – which follows 2009’s acclaimed “CRADLESONG” – is slated for release in late summer.
Rob Thomas is one of the most distinctive artists of this or any other era – a gifted vocalist, spellbinding performer, and accomplished songwriter known worldwide as lead singer and primary composer with Matchbox Twenty as well as for his multi-platinum certified solo work and chart-topping collaborations with other artists. Among his countless hits are solo classics like “Lonely No More,” “This Is How A Heart Breaks,” and “Streetcorner Symphony,” Matchbox Twenty favorites including “Push,” “3AM,” “If You’re Gone,” and “Bent,” and of course  “Smooth,” his 3x RIAA platinum certified worldwide hit collaboration with Santana. Thomas earned three GRAMMY® Awards for his role as co-writer and vocalist on “Smooth,” which topped Billboard’s “Hot 100” for an astounding 12 consecutive weeks and spent 58 total weeks on the chart, the #1 song in Billboard’s “Top Hot 100 Rock Songs” chart history and #2 “Hot 100” song of all time. The #1, multi-platinum “…SOMETHING TO BE,” made history as the first album by a male artist from a rock or pop group to debut at No. 1 on The Billboard 200 since the chart was launched.  In 2004, Thomas was the first artist to be honored with the Songwriters Hall of Fame’s prestigious “Hal David Starlight Award,” created to recognize a composer in the early years of his or her career that has already made a lasting impact.  He has won numerous BMI and ASCAP Awards, and twice earned the “Songwriter of the Year” crown from both Billboard and BMI. Overall, Thomas has contributed to sales of more than 80 million records.     Thomas’ most recent solo album, 2009’s “CRADLESONG,” marked still another milestone, generating two #1 singles in “Her Diamonds” and “Someday.”  Rob made Billboard chart history once again as the only male artist with multiple #1 hits at Adult Top 40.  With this coronation, Thomas tied Pink with the most No. 1's by a solo artist in the chart’s history.
In 2012, Matchbox Twenty returned with their first all-new album in a decade, “NORTH.” Fueled by the hit singles, “She’s So Mean,”  “Overjoyed,” and “Our Song,” “NORTH” proved a landmark for the band, their first ever #1 debut and Billboard 200 chart-topper.  A charismatic, engaging, and indefatigable live performer, Thomas has spent much of the past two decades on the road, fronting massive world treks with Matchbox Twenty and on his own as well as a series of intimate acoustic tours. Thomas is also a dedicated philanthropist, establishing The Sidewalk Angels Foundation with his wife Marisol Thomas in 2003. Dedicated to providing critically needed funds and support to grassroots groups across the country, the New York-based not-for-profit organization is the primary supporter and sponsor of a number of no-kill animal shelters and animal rescues. Additionally, The Sidewalk Angels Foundation also supports a myriad of other causes, from childhood health and wellness to the fight against homelessness, reflecting the passion of its co-founders to fight for the rights and fair treatment of those with no voice. Nostalgia: An Evening With Annie Lennox, a deluxe package featuring Annie Lennox’s GRAMMY-nominated Nostalgia album and a brand new concert film, is scheduled for release on Blue Note Records on May 4. Shot on January 28, 2015 by director Natalie Johns (Morrissey) at Los Angeles’ art deco Orpheum Theatre, the film captures one of music’s most popular and acclaimed artists in her only full concert performance of the songs from Nostalgia. Fronting a 19-piece band – including string and horn sections – and unveiling striking lighting and production elements created especially for this special evening, Lennox demonstrates her distinctive vocal and performance talents on an array of American standards, ranging from “Summertime,” “Georgia On My Mind,” “Strange Fruit” and “God Bless The Child” to one of rock’n’roll’s most enduring classics, “I Put A Spell On You.” In addition to its inclusion in the deluxe package, the film can also be purchased on its own in DVD, Blu-ray and digital long form formats at all music retailers and streaming partners. The pre-order is underway now on Amazon. It can also be pre-ordered at http://smarturl.it/NostalgiaPremium, where fans will find several exclusive bundles, including the Premium Nostalgia Experience, which will contain the concert DVD (or Blu-ray), CD and vinyl editions of the Nostalgia album and a silk lithograph that Annie will personally inscribe for each recipient. (This edition is limited to 100.)

“Every singer loves the challenge of interpreting truly inspirational songs. Each one of these masterpieces stands as a lasting testimony to the brilliance of their creators – their individual beauty, power and poetry continues to stand the test of time,” said Annie Lennox. “The song selection for Nostalgia was very personal and intuitive – there was no agenda or stratagem other than becoming intrigued and fascinated through the process of listening, transcribing and recording. Now they live in my blood stream.”

Fans can get a first look at Lennox’s concert film when it premieres on THIRTEEN’S Great Performances, airing on PBS on Friday, April 3, at 10 p.m. Check local listings or visit Great Performances Online at www.pbs.org/gperf. Click HERE for a preview of the episode, which features Lennox performing “Georgia On My Mind.” For an encore, Lennox sat down at the piano and delivered striking solo renditions of two of her own hits, Here Comes the Rain Again” and “Why.” Fans who purchase Nostalgia: An Evening With Annie Lennox will enjoy the entire 60-minute concert plus exclusive footage of Annie performing two additional songs – “Sweet Dreams (Are Made Of This)" and “No More I Love You’s.”

Nostalgia hit No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Jazz Albums chart in October of 2014 and subsequently received a GRAMMY nomination for Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album. After her performance with Hozier on the awards show telecast, Nostalgia shot up to No. 1 on the Amazon and iTunes Jazz albums charts and “I Put A Spell On You” topped the two retailers’ Jazz Songs charts. “Annie Lennox was the surprise hit of the GRAMMY’s,” marveled Vogue.

“I Put A Spell On You,” which was heard in the opening four minutes of the film Fifty Shades of Grey, breaks the Top 20 at Adult Mainstream radio this week, jumping to 18*, and Lennox’s performance video of the song has more than six million views.
