LESLIE STEVENS’ NEW ALBUM SINNER OUT AUGUST 23 VIA THIRTY TIGERS
ALBUM TRACK “12 FEET HIGH” PREMIERES

Her soft, clear voice remains the focal point, while
her alt-country sound recalls the Laurel Canyon day
of The Flying Burrito Brothers.

…evokes Patsy Cline’s sass and
sorrow in one swoop.

Quietly turning into one of the city’s best...what
makes the songs magical is the way Stevens spruces
up the retro country-pop settings with clear-eyed and
thought-
fully incisive lyrics.

LA-based singer-songwriter Leslie Stevens is set to release her new LP, Sinner, on August 23 viaThirty Tigers; pre-order HERE and listen/share the album track “12 Feet High” HERE.
“I have always written songs to help me heal and to help me cry and laugh,” Stevens explains, “Many people don't like tears- they are afraid of pain- they want to walk away… When after I play someone says ‘You are the most vulnerable’ I consider it the biggest compliment. Still, it means cracking my heart open like an egg at every show.”
Sinner marks Stevens’ third full-length album, following The Donkey and the Rose and Roomful of Smoke, both of which led the Los Angeles Times to call her “one of the city’s best,” while LA Weekly named her Best Country Singer of 2018. Sinner is produced by acclaimed artist Jonathan Wilson (Dawes, Father John Misty) and features drummer James Gadson (Paul McCartney, B.B. King), bassist Jake Blanton (The Killers), pianist Keefus Ciancia (Elton John, T Bone Burnett), organist Nate Walcott (Red Hot Chili Peppers, Bright Eyes) and guest vocals from Jenny O on the track “Sylvie.”
Stevens has recorded and toured with a wide variety of acclaimed musicians, including Florence + the Machine, My Morning Jacket’s Jim JamesFather John Misty and Jenny O. Stevens also fronted folk-country band Leslie Stevens and the Badgers, and together the band released two LPs.

TYLER CHILDERS’ “ALL YOUR’N” PREMIERES TODAY
NEW ALBUM COUNTRY SQUIRE OUT
AUGUST 2
“COUNTRY SQUIRE RUN” HEADLINING
TOUR CONFIRMED
Acclaimed singer/songwriter Tyler Childers’ new single “All Your’n” premieres alongside a new lyric video today, watch/share HERE. The track comes from Childers’ highly anticipated upcoming album, Country Squire, which is out August 2 via Hickman Holler Records/RCA Records. His first release in partnership with RCA Records, the album is now available now forpre-order.
Produced by Sturgill Simpson and David Ferguson, the record was recorded at The Butcher Shoppe in Nashville and consists of nine new songs written by Childers including lead track, “House Fire.” Rolling Stone praises the song, noting that Childers “updates the bluegrass sounds of his native Kentucky with electricity and roots-rock stomp, nodding to past traditions without sacrificing the present,” while Paste declares it “a lusty do-si-do. It’ll have you slapping your knees, stomping your feet and tossing your hair.” Watch the song’s official music videoHERE.
In addition to Childers (vocals, acoustic guitar), the album features a number of world-renowned musicians including Stuart Duncan (fiddle, mandolin, banjo), Miles Miller (drums, background vocals) and Russ Pahl (acoustic guitar, electric guitar, pedal steel, Jaw harp, baritone).
Of the mission behind the album, Childers comments, “I hope that people in the area that I grew up in find something they can relate to. I hope that I’m doing my people justice and I hope that maybe someone from somewhere else can get a glimpse of the life of a Kentucky boy.”
In celebration of the release, Childers will embark on his extensive “Country Squire Run” headlining tour this fall including stops at Los Angeles’ The Wiltern, Brooklyn’s Brooklyn Steel (two nights), Boston’s House of Blues, Washington D.C.’s The Anthem, Seattle’s Paramount Theatre, Minneapolis’ First Avenue (two nights), Atlanta’s The Tabernacle and Philadelphia’s The Fillmore among several others. Full ticket information is available via www.tylerchildersmusic.com.

The release of Country Squire continues a series of breakout years for the Kentucky-native, whose critically acclaimed debut album, Purgatory, was released in 2017. The record—also produced by Sturgill Simpson and David Ferguson—landed on multiple “Best of 2017” lists including NPR Music, Rolling Stone, Noisey, The Bluegrass Situation, Wide Open Country and The Boot. Of the album, NPR Music raves “the intimacy he conjures is his gift, in this private moment made universal, and throughout his remarkable official debut,” while Pitchfork declaresit’s his voice, peppered with both the knowledge of the ages and the innocence of youth, that makes a song…so effective. Then it’s the lyrics, a mix of plain-talk honesty and beguiling metaphors, that tip the scales to timeless.” Since his debut, Childers was named “Emerging Artist of the Year” at the 2018 Americana Music Association Honors & Awards and has been featured on NPR Music’s Tiny Desk Concert series and Anthony Bourdain: Parts Unknown. Additionally, he’s toured extensively across the world including over 130 sold-out headline shows as well as multiple dates supporting John Prine. He has also performed at several major festivals including Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza, Newport Folk Festival, Austin City Limits and Stagecoach.

COLLECTIVE SOUL AT 25:

TENTH STUDIO ALBUM,
‘BLOOD,’
OUT TODAY ON FUZZE-FLEX RECORDS/ADA;

U.S TOUR UNDERWAY

June 21, 2019 – For COLLECTIVE SOUL, their 25-year career has always had a common theme: family. Family of their own, and their family of fans around the world.

Now, as part of their silver anniversary year, they stay true to their most important value with their highly anticipated tenth studio album, BLOOD, which was released today on Fuzze-Flex Records/ADA as a download or CD on any of these digital retailers. Vinyl copies of the album are currently available on the band’s official website, and will be available at retailers on Friday, July 19.

While the album title, BLOOD, maybe evoke many different thoughts and ideas, for the band, it all comes down to that same word: family. “I think BLOOD expresses where we’ve been on this life journey,” observes singer/guitarist E Roland. “And we’ve done so with songs featuring piano and strings to those with a lot of guitar riffs. BLOOD is an accumulation of all the different styles we’ve used over the years, but it’s still COLLECTIVE SOUL. I think it’s the best we’ve ever done. I know you should think that, but I really do think it’s the best. It’s a good, consistent record. We’re just so proud of it.”

BLOOD is the culmination of a quarter-century of COLLECTIVE SOUL--E Roland (vocals/guitar), Dean Roland (rhythm guitar), Will Turpin (bass/background vocals), Jesse Triplett (lead guitar/background vocals), Johnny Rabb (drums/background vocals)-- assessing not only where they’ve come from, but also where they’re going. “So much of it is based on the camaraderie-ship of the band,” E Roland explains. “All of us basically have children, and my brother Dean just had a baby girl. Jesse’s the only one who doesn’t have kids, but he’s basically a baby, in age anyway. My brother’s in the band so there’s blood there, but the five us — it’s a family.”

Since the release of the album’s first single, “Right As Rain,” the song has been spinning on radio stations nationwide and has been added to many of Spotify’s and Apple Music’s playlists including, Spotify’s Rock The World! and All New Rock playlists, Apple Music’s Eclectic Rock playlist, and Spotify’s Rock Hard playlist. The album’s second single, “Good Place To Start,” can currently be heard on Spotify’s Just Rock playlist.  While an “Essentials” playlist was created and is available now on Apple Music.

In touring news, COLLECTIVE SOUL will continue their 25th anniversary celebration throughout the year with headlining U.S. shows which should last through the end of the year. They recently wrapped up the first batch of shows of their “Now’s The Time Tour” with Gin Blossoms, which will pick up again starting August 13 in Phoenix, AZ at the Comerica Theatre. COLLECTIVE SOUL and Gin Blossoms are offering their own VIP packages, which include band meet and greets, exclusive merchandise, and much more. CHASE RICE TOPS COUNTRY AIRPLAY CHARTS FOR A SECOND WEEK WITH EYES ON YOU

Smash-Hit Earns Rice His First No. 1 as an Artist

Eyes On You” Also Enters Top 40 on All-Genre Billboard Hot 100
NASHVILLE, Tenn. – With Gold-certified hit “Eyes On You” earning the top spot at Country radio for the second consecutive week on both the Mediabase and Billboard charts, multi-Platinum entertainer Chase Rice celebrates the result of years of hard work that have triumphantly culminated in his first No. 1 hit as an artist.

“From the moment we wrote ‘Eyes On You’ we felt how special it was, and then that was confirmed when we saw how strongly the fans reacted to it right away,” reflects Rice. “My career has certainly had its ups and downs, but we knew we were putting the work in to set ourselves up for something even bigger. To have it all pay off in this way makes me so grateful that I get to make music I’m proud of every day and makes me hungry to keep pushing for more. Thank you to every single person from the fans at our shows to the people playing our music on the radio for making this crazy dream of mine come true.”

Written by Rice alongside frequent collaborators Ashley Gorley and Chris DeStefano, the singalong chorus of “Eyes On You” tells the story of a man so enamored by a woman that the world’s most beautiful settings pale in comparison.

In addition to instantly becoming a fan-favorite at live shows and a viral sensation – streamed more than 50 million times and hitting Spotify’s U.S. Viral 50 Chart before it was even announced as a single, then landing on Rolling Stone’s “10 Best Country and Americana Songs of the Week” upon its release – “Eyes On You” has now been streamed more than 130 million times and has also earned critical praise as evidence that Rice’s unique journey and hard work thus far is paying off.

After a scorching start to his career as a songwriter on Florida Georgia Line’s Diamond-certified No. 1 crossover hit “Cruise” in 2012, Rice quickly climbed the charts on his own with both debut single “Ready Set Roll” and follow-up “Gonna Wanna Tonight” hitting the Top 5 and earning Platinum certifications.

“When you start out that hot, you sometimes miss opportunities to have deeper relationships with people. And that’s what we’ve fixed,” Rice recently shared with Taste of Country.

In the period defined by a lack of radio airplay which followed that initial wave of success, Rice focused on rebuilding from the ground up. As the Tennessean described, “he switched record labels, fought his way back to country radio relevance and [nabbed] his first No. 1 hit with ‘Eyes On You.’”

He also focused on engaging with his passionate fans at live shows, continuously growing his audience and selling out shows across the country before returning to the airwaves with new music. The resulting two-week No. 1 has shown that his strategy paid off, with Sounds Like Nashville describing “Eyes On You” as “a testament to his growth in the genre [which] shows promise of all that he has left to do.”

“‘Eyes On You,’” Billboard proclaims, “has proven his instincts were right.”

The Tar Heel State native released his sophomore album, Lambs & Lions, featuring lead single and Top-20 hit “Three Chords & the Truth,” with new label Broken Bow Records in November 2017. Follow-up single “Eyes On You” has been certified Gold by the RIAA and is both Rice’s first No. 1 as an artist as well as the most-streamed song of his career with more than 130 million streams to date. His debut album Ignite the Night debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums and No. 3 on the all-genre chart, and produced a pair of Top 5 hits, the Platinum-certified "Ready Set Roll" and “Gonna Wanna Tonight.” After supporting Kenny Chesney’s The Big Revival Tour, Rice consistently sold out 2,500-3,000 seat venues on his headlining JD and Jesus Tour, Everybody We Know Does Tour and Lambs & Lions Tour. He recently served as direct support on the Luke Bryan Farm Tour 2018 and headlined a U.K. run in advance of his highly-anticipated Eyes On You Tour, currently underway.
