Kenny Chesney Breaks Pink Floyd’s Record
57,368 Fans at Arrowhead Stadium Topples Two Decade
Old Number

Kansas City, Mo. (August 2, 2015) -- The traffic on I-70 was backed up for well over an hour going both directions. The parking lots were flooded as soon as they opened the gates. It should’ve been obvious before the tickets were tallied something special was going on; but for fans coming to Arrowhead Stadium for Kenny Chesney’s Big Revival, it seemed like it was the annual rite of summer for the No Shoes Nation.
But when the tickets were counted, Chesney had shattered Pink Floyd’s 1994 record of 56,134 with 57,368 in attendance. This year’s show marked Chesney fourth headlining stand at Arrowhead Stadium.
“I had no idea about the number when we took the stage,” Chesney marveled when he was told. “Pink Floyd are rock icons. Every kid’s high school experience… I never ever would've thought something like that could happen. We’ve been coming to Kansas City for years, and they’ve always been really loud audiences. But when we hit the stage, it felt like all those years, all those shows were added up into one – and that was what we were being hit with.”
Chesney, who attended practice with the Kansas City Chiefs on Friday, was clearly in the zone. Hailed by The Dallas Morning News as “Two parts Mick Jagger, one part Springsteen, one part Billy Graham,” the man who’s broken his own record at Pittsburgh’s Heinz Field, Green Bay’s Lambeau Field, Philadelphia’s Lincoln Financial Field and Minneapolis’ Target Stadium for the third time recognized the night was special before he even hit the stage.

"I could hear the cheers when the intro film was running,” Chesney said. “It was so loud, I could barely hear the music – and from the very first second I was out there singing, the audience was electric! It felt like being at the bottom of a mountain, and an avalanche just kept rolling over you. The energy, the heart, the passion had that much force and it didn’t let up – not once all night."

The crowd took over on the songs-watermarking-life “I Go Back,” then came back with a deafening response to his 27th No. 1 “Wild Child.” They were also loud and proud on the long gone summer love “Anything But Mine” – and brought “American Kids” to a whole other threshold.

“Kansas City took ‘American Kids’ to a whole other place,” Chesney explained. “They made it their own. But they took over a bunch of the songs – and it was awesome. When you’ve played somewhere for several years, and the passion grows, that’s what you’re trying to create. It’s the best part of what we do up here. And man, Kansas City just leveled me. Every show we’ve ever played, all the way back, they hit us”
There are plenty more stadiums to come: Denver’s Sports Authority Stadium at Mile High Aug. 8, E. Rutherford, NJ’s Met Life Stadium Aug. 15, Detroit’s Ford Field Aug. 22 and a double at Foxboro’s Gillette Stadium Aug. 28-29. Those shows will take the only country act on Billboard’s Top 10 Touring Acts of the Last 25 Years to 135 stadium plays since 2005. Having taken a year to get ready for The Big Revival 2015 Tour, Chesney hit the road with a real passion – and the fans have absolutely reciprocated in kind.

Audiences will experience the ultimate celebration of celebrations as they join Mickey Mouse and friends on a delightful
tour of festivities jam-packed with fun surprises, spectacular skating and vibrant costumes. The production's original storyline transports audiences to exciting events with their favorite Disney characters, including a Valentine's Day Royal Ball with Princess Tiana; a Very Merry UnBirthday Party with Alice and the Mad Hatter; Jack Skellington's frightfully festive Halloween party with the Disney Villains; and a Hawaiian luau with Lilo and Stitch.

Drawing upon their own holiday experiences for research, the production's creative team was able to envision a show with an abundance of colors, warmth and spirit to evoke the pleasant memories of the holidays for the audience. "At the beginning of the show we invite everyone to 'Be Our Guest,' and we want the audience to feel like they are participating in the show, not that they are merely watching it," says Director Patty Vincent. "The audience gets to be a part of what we experience on the ice-they'll feel like they went trick or treating with Mickey and spent Valentine's Day with the Disney Princesses."

"Let's Celebrate! Presented by YoKidsis all about experiencing the holidays through the eyes of the Disney characters. We have a variety of celebrations from all over the world," adds Vincent. "With Mickey's Digital Global Destinator, we are able to travel to far-off places like China for the Chinese New Year and to Brazil for Carnival."

"The show takes on a contemporary perspective with new music, choreography, costumes and video technology that pumps incredible energy into every moment of the show," says writer Jerry Bilik. "Mickey even causes a few mix-ups with his Digital Global Destinator, but in the end everything wraps up in one of the happiest celebrations ever!"

As Mickey and pals travel through each special time of year, Scenic Designer Robert Little sets the ice with iconic props that embody the essence of each celebration. An illuminated cherry blossom tree depicts the beauty of the Japanese Cherry Blossom festival, Sakura; a tree-like structure wrapped in gleaming white lights descends from the ceiling as snowfall blankets the scene of a Winter Wonderland; and an elegant canopy of shimmery fuchsia chiffon drapes the ice for a Valentine's Day Royal Ball.

"I tried to design pieces that encompassed what comes to mind when you think of that particular celebration," says Little. "For the Halloween scene, I visualized an eerie environment with an iron gate surrounded by giant spider webs and spooky jack-o-lanterns. The entire arena will feel the Halloween spirit regardless of what time of year it is."

The atmosphere of each celebration is enhanced through the help of a large video projection screen that displays vivid images created by Video Designer Ilja Nowodworski. As Mardi Gras dancers snap their fingers to the beat, the video screen travels down a confetti-lined Bourbon Street backdrop, and when Minnie finds her true love in a Valentine's Day dream sequence, fluffy pink clouds float across the background.

Costume Designer Vanessa Leuck's vivid assortment of costumes relies heavily on color to capture the look of each celebration. From silky kimonos made of lavender and pink florals for Japanese Sakura to citrus-colored feather headpieces for Brazil's Carnival to iridescent whites and silvers adorned with snowflake appliqués and rhinestones for the Winter Wonderland scene, Leuck designed costumes from across the spectrum. "I wanted each scene to be different in color, silhouette and mood, but I wanted to tie everything together in a cohesive look that was modern and fresh," says Leuck.

From twisting and fire-twirling Hawaiian luau dancers to the zombie-like movements of the ghoulish groupies in the Halloween segment, choreographer Cindy Stuart adds high-energy and a unique style to each performance number. "We really stepped out of the box with the choreography for this show," says Stuart. "The production numbers revolve around the celebrations which are not necessarily part of the Disney stories we have worked with in the past. Every number is new and different from the others."

Audiences get a taste of New Orleans, where Tiana's story takes place, in a Mardi Gras performance that is packed with
upbeat jazz-influenced choreography and music. In the Valentine's Day segment, seven extraordinary pairs of Disney Princesses and Princes skate to contemporary remixes of classic songs from each princess story and then come together for a large number to "That's How You Know" from Walt Disney Pictures Enchanted. At a Very Merry UnBirthday Party, a fast-paced skating frenzy ensues as the characters toss around the Mad Hatter's hat. Then a uniquely choreographed precision skating number follows with Sorcerer Mickey bringing 15 skaters in broom costumes to life and sweeping across the ice in a synchronized formation.

Lighting Designer Alex Reardon applies UV lighting techniques to the sequence making it appear as though the skaters are actually brooms out on the ice. Ten brooms hang from the grid above the ice and six brooms dance across the video screen filling out the scene with more than 30 orchestrated brooms.

For the other celebrations, Reardon effectively
adds patterns and colors to give dimension to the scene. In the Halloween number, images of cobwebs creep over the ice and during Chinese New Year, golden Chinese crests cover the ice floor. "Every celebration has an overall mood associated with it so it made sense to light each scene in a way that expressed that mood," says Reardon. "The fun of working on this show was that every segment was different and I was able to utilize a variety of lighting techniques."

With a contemporary flair and eclectic mixture of creative elements, Disney On Ice presents Let's Celebrate! Presented by Yokids Organic Yogurt is an incredible party that will inspire families to celebrate year round.

NASHVILLE, TENN. – – Country music sensation Scotty McCreery debuted his highly anticipated new single “Southern Belle” on “FOX & Friends” All-American Summer Concert Series last Friday. The song, written by Sean McConnell and Jason Saenz, will be available for purchase Aug 24 and impacts radio Sep 7. “Southern Belle” is the first single from McCreery’s upcoming new album due out in early 2016.  Watch the “FOX & Friends” performance here.

As part of the All-American Summer Concert Series, “FOX & Friends” hosts Steve Doocy, Elisabeth Hasselbeck, and Brian Kilmeade presented McCreery with an RIAA-certified Gold Single plaque representing more than half a million sales and streams of his recent Top Ten Hit “Feelin’ It,” written by Frank Rogers and Matthew West. This is the singer/songwriter’s latest RIAA-certified single, having already earned three Platinum certifications for his singles “I Love You This Big,” “The Trouble with Girls,” and “See You Tonight.”

“What a way to start the morning by debuting my new single and then receiving a Gold record for ‘Feelin’ It’,” said an excited McCreery. “I have the greatest fans in the world and I thank them for supporting me and my music. I hope they will love ‘Southern Belle’ just as much!”

This summer, McCreery is featured in Fandango.com's "I Love Movies" original video series. Watch him talk about his favorite movie, "Miracle," here. THOMAS RHETT UNRAVELS TANGLED UP ALBUM DETAILS AHEAD OF SEPTEMBER 25 RELEASE

The Sophomore Album Delivers a Rule-Bending Signature Thomas Rhett Sound

Cover Art Courtesy of The Valory Music Co.
Nashville, TN  – Multi-Platinum selling THOMAS RHETT spent his childhood listening to the sounds of the FM radio. He would regularly flip from one station to another, cranking up a mix of Country, Pop, R&B, Rap, Rock and Oldies. It was a tangle of music. Decades later, he's tipping his hat to those days with TANGLED UP (The Valory Music Co.), out September 25, an album that mixes the sound of his influences with equal doses of groove, melody and twang.

"I didn't grow up listening to just one style of music," shares Thomas Rhett. "So, I don't know how to write just one style of music. Whether these songs have more of a Pop influence or more of a Hip-Hop influence or a completely Country influence, they all — in some crazy way — cohesively sound like a me song."

Produced by a combination of music’s most respected and fresh talent, the 13-track album is filled with party anthems, dance tunes, drinking songs, love ballads and everything in between, all tied together by a dynamic singer who's unafraid to blur the lines between genres. The record was written across the country before and after shows, while Thomas Rhett’s body was still flushed with adrenaline.

"At our shows, there aren't any rules,” Thomas Rhett continues. "There's no such thing as standing still and just singing a song. I love jumping into the crowd. I love to dance. The whole show is very uptempo, high energy, and completely unpredictable.”

Maybe that’s why TANGLED UP feels like such an upbeat, energetic record. Its "retro, contemporary and edgy"
(Billboard) first single "Crash And Burn” has already climbed into the Top 10 and earned GOLD certification long before the album's release.

TANGLED UP TRACK LIST:
1.   “Anthem”  (Nicolle Galyon, Shane McAnally, Jimmy Robbins)

Thomas Rhett established himself as one of Country music’s elite new artist with his debut album IT GOES LIKE THIS (The Valory Music Co.), which tallied three consecutive chart-topping hits, making him Billboard’s first male Country artist in over 20 years to do so. As “one of Country music’s most successful – and divisive – new artists” (The Guardian), the CMA and ACM New Artist of the Year nominee continues to garner praise for his “can’t miss” live show as direct support for Florida Georgia Line and will soon amp things up even further this fall as co-headliner of CMT ON TOUR: BRETT ELDREDGE & THOMAS RHETT – SUITS & BOOTS. SINGLE REVIEW COPIES AVAILABLE UPON REQUEST
Nashville, TN (August 5, 2015) – Entertainer and entrepreneur REBA does it all: chart-topping album, sold-out Vegas residency, sitcom guest spot, fresh Reba Beauty line and more this year alone. But the evolving projects only fuel her passion for making music for her fans as she once again gives them a first look at her next single and the vibrant crimson cover art. She will perform “Until They Don’t Love You” on NBC’s The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon next Wednesday (8/12), airing at 11:35/10:35C.

“When we released LOVE SOMEBODY I was reminded of the power of my amazing fans!” expressed Reba. “The energy and sass of ‘Until They Don’t Love You’ mimics ‘Going Out Like That’ but takes it up another notch. When we were talking about the next single, I kept going back to this one … it’s just so much fun to perform live.”

Reba co-produced “Until They Don’t Love You” with long-time collaborator Tony Brown, amplifying the piercing lyrics with accentuated vocal runs and deliberate instrumentation. Acclaimed songwriters Shane McAnally, Lori McKenna and Josh Osborne penned the track that gives a self-reflective look at regret over ending a relationship: “Just three little words I should have told you before you left last night. Sometimes you don’t love somebody until they don’t love you.” The iconic vocalist will give a more in-depth look at the song this Friday (8/7) on the nationally syndicated four-hour radio broadcast America’s Morning Show, chatting with host Blair Garner, Chuck Wicks and L’Ashley.

The follow-up to “
Going Out Like That,” which scored the biggest single sales debut of Reba’s career, is featured on her chart-topping album LOVE SOMEBODY (available now: http://smarturl.it/LoveSomebody). With this twelfth summit she holds the record for the most Top Country Albums #1s among women and is only the second artist to have a chart-topping album in each of the last four decades, continuing to prove “the country queen continues to rule” (People Magazine) and that “she still has far too much to say to rest on her laurels(Associated Press).

Throughout her illustrious career, Reba has won a plethora of industry awards from the American Music Awards, ACM Awards, People’s Choice Awards, CMA Awards and Grammy Awards in addition to being inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame and being named the first-ever Billboard Woman of the Year. Reba has achieved a rare pinnacle with 35 #1 singles at radio and over 56 million albums sold worldwide though her successful empire reaches beyond music into television, film, theater and a flourishing
lifestyle brand that is celebrating 10 years. She also recently delved into Reba Beauty with longtime makeup artist Brett Freedman, releasing new shades of their Deluxstick with names corresponding to song titles such as “Fancy” and “Survivor."

Tonight (8/5), the Oklahoma native will return to television, reuniting with former Reba co-star Melissa Peterman during the summer finale of Baby Daddy, airing on ABC Family at 8:30P ET.

Following an initial sold-out run of REBA, BROOKS & DUNN: Together in Vegas, the superstar trifecta will give fans another chance to see their one-of-a-kind Country residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace. More dates have been added to the December 2015 schedule and information is available at

"The strength to this album is the change between atmosphere and adrenaline, the opulent guitar work and over and over again the gaze into the abyss. Many have flirted with goth before - but it never sounded as convincing as on this album." -- DEAF FOREVER (DE)

"... simply one of the most impressing albums I have heard lately." -- ROCK TRIBUNE (BE)

RANDY HOUSER’S BLISTERING NEW VIDEO FOR “WE WENT” DROPPED WORLDWIDE VIA VEVO YESTERDAY

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – (Aug. 3, 2015) – Following a weekend-long premiere on CMT Hot 20 Countdown and CMT platforms, the action-packed video for Randy Houser’s current single “We Went” dropped yesterday, via VEVO. The 3:27-long piece, which according to Taste of Country has solidified Houser as “a contender for king of the country music video,” was directed by Dustin Rikert and tells the story of the “Good Deed Bandits” as they take down a drug baron and distribute his ill-gotten gain to down-on-their-luck folks while racing around the Arizona desert.

Watch the video for “We Went” now at http://smarturl.it/WeWentMV

Rikert also helmed the epic mini-movie portrayal of Houser’s most recent Top 5 hit, “Like A Cowboy,” and the video for “We Went” echoes its style and scenery. He returned to the Tucson area along with several of the same cast members from “Like A Cowboy” -- including veteran actor William Shockley (Robocop; “Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman”) -- to shoot the new project.

“We had such a blast with the ‘Like A Cowboy’ video and the production on that one was so high-quality that we wanted to do it again for this one,” said Houser. “But this time, my whole band got to be in the video and there's a lot more action – everything from car chases to crash scenes to explosions. And we were thrilled to get back to Tucson - it’s an incredible area to shoot, with so much different scenery.  We just had a great time with it."

The first single from a forthcoming studio album on Stoney Creek Records, “We Went” has piqued the ears of critics and fans alike as it climbs the country charts. Rolling Stone Country called the song “supercharged” and a “galloping road anthem that builds on the dusty vibe of ‘Like A Cowboy.’” Houser also performed the song at Nashville's LP Field during the CMA Music Festival and will appear on the CMA Music Festival: Country’s Night to Rock television special airing tomorrow, August 4 at 8:00 p.m. / 7:00 p.m. CT on the ABC Television Network.

Fans can hear more new material from Houser as he continues on the Kick The Dust Up Tour with Luke Bryan, where he continues to earn rave reviews as “the kind of male belter that country music could use” (Star Tribune). JACKSON BROWNE ANNOUNCES ADDITIONAL 2015 US TOUR DATES
New November dates to include  special guests Larry Campbell and Teresa Williams
Singer-songwriter Jackson Browne adds November U.S. shows to his 2015 tour in support of his album, Standing In The Breach. Details and special benefit seating for all tour dates are available at www.jacksonbrowne.com.    This September through November, joining Jackson on the road with his longtime band mates Bob Glaub (Bass), Mauricio Lewak (Drums), Jeff Young (Hammond Organ, Piano), Chavonne Stewart & Alethea Mills (Harmony Vocals), and Greg Leisz (Guitar, Lap Steel, Pedal Steel) are multi-instrumentalist-vocalist Larry Campbell and singer-guitarist Teresa Williams. Currently on tour in support of their own eponymous debut album, produced by Campbell, their music distills everything into a potent, infectious blend of Americana style and timeless soul, offered with a relaxed generosity that can only come from rich experience.   “I’m thrilled to be touring with Larry Campbell and Teresa Williams,” said Jackson Browne.  “We played together at Levon Helm’s Midnight Ramble a few years ago, and I’ve been waiting for the chance to play with them again ever since.  Larry has played in some of my all-time favorite bands, and I’m excited to hear what he brings to my songs as this tour unfolds.  Teresa and I have a great vocal blend, as does she and Larry, and I’m looking forward to what happens when we introduce these longtime favorites of mine into my body of songs.”
Standing In The Breach, Jackson Browne's new studio album, is a collection of ten songs, at turns deeply personal and political, exploring love, hope, and defiance in the face of the advancing uncertainties of modern life.  Additional U.S. tour dates will be announced soon.
