BRET MICHAELS TO PLAY TWO STADIUM SHOWS IN LESS THAN 24 HOURS FOR THE 2019 NFL SEASON KICKOFF
UNBROKEN WORLD TOUR COMING TO FAMILY ARENA

Music Icon, Reality TV star, avid football fan and Poison frontman Bret Michaels, will be performing his hits in Commons Park at US Bank Stadium on Saturday September 7th at 3:30 pm central time for the Minnesota Vikings kickoff party as they host the Atlanta falcons. Immediately following Bret, a lifelong Type 1 diabetic, will fly to Phoenix Arizona to perform on Sunday at State Farm Stadium for the Arizona Cardinals opening game half time mega party, as the Cardinals take on the Detroit Lions. Michaels performance will include a special medley of some of his biggest hits including Nothing but a Good Time, Unskinny Bop, and Talk Dirty To Me, which is guaranteed to keep the party moving and the energy at an all-time high. The game will start at 1:25 pacific time with the halftime party begins at approximately at 2:40pm

Bret will then make an attempt to fly all the way back to the east coast for a late night after party performance following the Pittsburgh Steelers/ New England Patriots game if time allows. Michaels can also be seen in the 100 years of Football documentary airing on the NFL network and on October 22nd as a special guest on the Big Interview with Dan Rather on AXS TV.

Michaels is known to be a sports fanatic who truly loves football. He played quarterback and linebacker positions for both his junior high and high school football teams; and continues to play to this day. Since the beginning of his touring days he is infamously known to hold band verse crew football games in arena and truck stop parking lots across the country. This tradition continues while on his record breaking "UNBROKEN" world tour.

Bret Michaels states, "I love football, it was one of the biggest bonds between me and my father that we shared together right up to my dad's recent passing. My father was a veteran and a die-hard Steelers fan." Michaels continues, "The start of every season still gets me fired up, it's a new beginning for every team. I am honored that I have been asked by both the Vikings and the Cardinals to perform at their opening games. Whether I'm watching or playing football with family and friends, tailgating, or performing at a game, I love the energy, competitiveness, and  everything about it. All I know is a good game of football is great for the soul."

Look for Bret Michaels currently on his Unbroken World Tour featuring 5 very special "Hometown Heroes Concerts" in arenas around the country saluting Veterans, First Responders, teachers, utility workers and three generations of amazing fans. Also check out Bret's new song and video UNBROKEN, which is about facing adversity, cowritten by and featuring his youngest daughter Jorja Bleu, on YouTube and at all digital music retail and streaming services.

Additionally, the Bret Michaels Band will be performing on the Unbroken World Tour stop at the Family Arena in St. Charles on Saturday, October 12. Special guests are Warrant and Firehouse.

KSHE-95 Presents
BRET MICHAELS

With Warrant and Firehouse
At The Family Arena – Saturday, October 12

WHAT:         Bret Michaels is a multiplatinum global superstar who has turned his passion for music into a multi-faceted brand that encompasses record breaking touring sales, Reality TV stardom, legendary songs that have sold over 32 million records, product endorsements as well as being a devoted philanthropist, all supported and followed by three generations of loyal fans.

Rising to fame as the front man of Poison, one of rock’s most iconic and enduring bands, he helped define the rock-n-roll scene on the Sunset Strip. Their massive success includes selling over 30 million records worldwide and numerous hit singles. Equally as successful, Bret’s solo career has charted its own course with multiple solo albums. His last album, Custom Built, topped the charts, reaching #1 on Billboard's Hard Rock list.

At its core, WARRANT is an American rock band through and through. Hitting it big in 1989, the Hollywood, CA based band rose through the ranks of the local Sunset Strip scene to the level of multiplatinum selling, chart-topping success. The band first came into the national spotlight with their debut album Dirty Rotten Filthy Stinking Rich. This album produced Radio and MTV chart toppers “Down Boys,” “Sometimes She Cries,” and the massive hit “Heaven” which reached #1 in Rolling Stone and #2 on the Billboard Hot 100 for two weeks in a row. The single “Heaven” enjoyed Gold sales and the Album went Platinum in Canada as well, eventually selling over 3 million copies. In September 2008, Robert Mason replaced Jani Lane (RIP) as lead vocalist joining the other four original members, Jerry Dixon, Steven Sweet, Joey Allen and Erik Turner.

FireHouse has been rockin' for over 25 years. In 1990, their first album, entitled FIREHOUSE, was released. The band released "Don’t Treat Me Bad", which became their first top ten hit. This was followed by "Love of a Lifetime", which also entered the Top Ten, reaching the #3 spot on the United States charts. This string of hits vaulted their first album to double platinum status in the United States. The band’s second album, HOLD YOUR FIRE, was released in 1992. It produced the hits "Reach For The Sky" and "Sleeping With You". Another top ten hit, "When I Look Into Your Eyes", peaked on the United States charts at #6. This album earned the band platinum sales in the USA and over a million more worldwide.
