After a handful of intimate must-see shows in London and Dublin, The Script once again hit American soil on October 5 th, performing at Major League Baseball's Fan Cave in New York, where hundreds of fans turned up for an exhilarating show celebrating the launch of the Major League Baseball's postseason and wild card games. "Hall of Fame" – which Perez Hilton called an "inspirational and motivational anthem" – will be used in a television spot promoting the Fan Cave during the World Series, which launches October 24 on Fox.
The Script debuted "Hall of Fame" with a stirring performance on the Today Show during the London Olympics; they'll return to the Today Show stage this morning to perform the song live. Later this week, the band will appear on Live With Kelly and Michael (Oct. 10) and The Late Show with Jay Leno (Oct. 12); they'll perform on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on October 15. In addition, the song is currently featured in ads for NBC's primetime drama, Chicago Fire.

The single "Breakeven," went to #1 on the US charts after a record-setting 36 week ascent, and the album went on to double-platinum sales. It was followed by Science and Faith in 2010, which debuted at #1 in the UK and Ireland. By then, The Script had become superstars at home – a three night stand at the 02 Arena in Dublin sold out in less than 40 minutes, with more than 60,000 tickets sold. (As of now, The Script have more than 1.1 million Twitter followers and nearly 4 million Facebook fans.)
Praised for their lush melodies and powerful anthems, which Rolling Stone called "at once soaring and melancholic," The Script have sold more than four million albums and nine million singles, and toured with U2 and Paul McCartney.

THE SCRIPT RELEASE ALBUM #3, OUT OCTOBER 9th

First Single "Hall Of Fame" Featuring will.i.am

Band Returns to the US with Headlining Tour Kicking off October 9th at
Radio City Music Hall

(New York, NY) – The Script--Dublin, Ireland’s chart-topping hit-makers, step up to the podium with their Olympic sized new single, “Hall Of Fame,” featuring global superstar will.i.am, off of their forthcoming release, #3, out October 9th.  Penned by the band (Danny O’Donoghue, Mark Sheehan and Glen Power), inspirational new single – available August 21st – brings the band back to their piano-laden, pop melodiousness, blending a seamless duet with the hip hop lyrical flow of will.i.am. It’s clear The Script have raised the stakes with “Hall of Fame,” declaring “… and the world’s gonna know your name.”

On “Hall of Fame,” Mark Sheehan comments: "We wanted to capture as much emotion in the track’s sound as there is in the lyrics, which are definitely some of the most positive and upbeat we’ve ever written."

In December of 2011, The Script’s frontman Danny O’Donoghue joined Jessie J, Tom Jones and will.i.am as a judge on BBC’s inaugural season of The Voice UK. Working with will.i.am on “Hall Of Fame,” Danny O’Donoghue says: “We thought it might make a great duet but we wanted to do it line by line, true duet style. It took several months, a headlock and a taxi cab to get Will on the song!”

The Script will make a triumphant return to the road in North America, kicking off their headlining tour on October 9 at New York’s prestigious Radio City Music Hall. Fans can pre-order #3 beginning July 23 at www.myplaydirect.com/the-script and all who pre-order the album will receive a code for early access to tour tickets. The ticket pre-sale period runs from July 24 at 10am to July 26 at 10pm, with the public on sale going live July 27th.

#3 follows up The Script’s critically acclaimed 2010 Science & Faith album, which rocketed to No. 3 on Billboard’s Top 200 and led to a string of sold out US tour dates in Fall 2011. Science and Faith debuted at #1 in Ireland and the UK. The Script  have enjoyed an epic rise to fame following the success of their 2008 self-titled debut album and their massive platinum selling single, “Breakeven.” That single rewrote history on Billboard’s Adult Pop Songs airplay radio chart, taking the #1 spot, where the song completed a record-setting 36 week rise to the summit. Impressively, the band has sold over five million singles in the US, and has played stadium shows with Paul McCartney and their mentors, U2.
