NASHVILLE, TN) – LEVI HUMMON released his self-titled debut EP April 1 and will celebrate its success next Wednesday (4/20) with a special show at 12th & Porter. The Valory Music Co. recording artist will headline the Nashville hotspot with Devin Dawson and Jillian Jacqueline opening. More on the event can be found here.

Award-winning songwriter Jimmy Robbins produced the project with Levi penning four of the five tracks. The skilled musician has also collaborated with songwriters Jon Nite, Josh Osborne, Nicolle Galyon and Liz Rose, among others. Currently, Levi is featured as one of CMT’s Listen Up Artists in addition to an Artist to Watch by The Huffington Post. Rolling Stone – who named Levi an Artist You Need to Know – premiered the “First Listen” of the EP, which has already received raved reviews:
"...'Life's for Livin',' the EP's opening track, has been a crowd-pleaser live – thanks to how it both showcases Hummon's crisp, diverse vocals that can juggle attitude and aptitude in one line and a chant-along vibe that sits somewhere between Ed Sheeran's peppier moments, pre-1989 Taylor Swift and his genre-blending contemporaries like Thomas Rhett."
– Rolling Stone Country

"... a first-rate composition that deserves a chance to be heard."
– Sounds Like Nashville

"We're calling it: Rising Big Machine artist Levi Hummon…is going to explode in 2016."
– Nashville Lifestyles
In addition to his own project, Levi has also penned Superstar Steven Tyler’s song “Red, White and You,” which is featured nationally in the new Skittles commercial. He has previously shared the stage with Sam Hunt, Maddie & Tae, Alabama, Dwight Yoakam, Kelsea Ballerini, Cam and Dan + Shay. Billy Currington will feature Levi on select dates of the SUMMER FOREVER TOUR.

Levi will hit the road at the end of April in support of his EP, which also includes his song "Guts And Glory,” inspired by the spirit of the Ram Truck brand. In a new partnership with Ram, Levi will be riding to his tour destinations in various cities in a new 2016 Ram 1500 pickup.  The truck brand will also be capturing content on the tour for future use on Ram social pages and its Ram Life hub on the brand’s website. The route will include select cities including San Diego, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle, Dallas, Austin, Detroit, Atlanta and New York. The tour kicks off April 21 and fans can follow along using #GutsGloryRam.

Nashville, TN (August 25, 2014) – THE VALORY MUSIC CO. announces the signing of LEVI HUMMON to its artist roster, which includes superstar Reba, chart-topping stars Justin Moore, Brantley Gilbert, Thomas Rhett as well as legendary band The Mavericks and newcomer RaeLynn. The young Nashville native, whose penchant for songwriting is rooted in his DNA, brings a fresh sound to the Big Machine Label Group imprint.

“As our Country format ebbs and flows, it’s always so important from an A&R perspective to look past what’s happening now and make some moves on the future direction,” said BMLG President & CEO Scott Borchetta. “Levi’s unique vision and incredible artistry is exactly the kind of musical move we want to make now. This is a very significant artist signing.”

Growing up with musical influences all around him, Levi credits his early lessons in songwriting to his Grammy Award winning father, Marcus Hummon ("God Bless The Broken Road") and inspiration from his mother Becca Stevens, who founded the socially conscious and philanthropic organization Thistle Farms. The father-son pair has performed together on multiple stages throughout the years, most recently during the 2014 CMA Music Festival. Through Levi's childhood and studying visual art in college, the 23- year-old storyteller melds his life experiences into honing his craft. Learning to bring his own ideas and unique vision to co-writes, Levi has had the opportunity to collaborate with 2014 ACM Songwriter of the Year Shane MacAnally, Andrew Dorff, Josh Osborne, Jonathan Singleton, Nathan Barlowe Brandy Clark and Trevor Rosen among others. While developing his personal sound during these sessions and on his own, Levi caught the attention of Hall of Fame Songwriter Desmond Child, which lead to "Make It Love" being featured in Two: The Story of Roman & Nero and inclusion on the short list of nominations for the Oscar's Best Original Song.

“It really feels like a dream come true to be a part of the Valory/BMLG family! I've gotten to know a lot of the staff already, and it feels like one big family,” said Levi. “This label home already feels so supportive and is a perfect fit for my music. I also want to give a special shout out to my dad, who has been both a friend and mentor to me through this process, and a huge thank you to Desmond Child and Fletcher Foster for their belief in me."
Levi is currently working on his debut album, due out next year. Fletcher Foster's Iconic Entertainment Group will serve as management.
