-- Billy Joel will appear in a special live performance from Barclay's Center in Brooklyn on "Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve with Ryan Seacrest," performing one of his classic hits as the first song of the New Year.
Show host Ryan Seacrest will lead the traditional countdown at midnight, and co-host Jenny McCarthy ("The View") will join him throughout the broadcast, live from Times Square. Billy Joel joins previously announced performers Blondie, Capital Cities, Miley Cyrus, Daughtry, Jason Derulo, Fall Out Boy, Florida Georgia Line, Ariana Grande, Jennifer Hudson, Icona Pop, Enrique Iglesias, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Robin Thicke and The Fray.
"Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2014," is a bi-coastal celebration with a West Coast celebration hosted by Fergie of the Black Eyed Peas.  Coverage of "Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2014," will feature hours of special performances and reports on New Year's celebrations from around the globe, beginning at 8:00 PM ET/PT on ABC.

FERGIE AND JENNY MCCARTHY RETURN AS HOSTS OF THE EAST AND WEST COAST PARTIES

SANTA MONICA, Calif., -- Ryan Seacrest hosts the year's biggest celebration at the crossroads of the world in Times Square with Jenny McCarthy while Fergie of the Black Eyed Peas will return to host the west coast party on "Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2014," on MONDAY, DECEMBER 31 (10:00 – 11:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network. West Coast performances feature Jason Derulo, Fall Out Boy, Jennifer Hudson, Enrique Iglesias, and Robin Thicke. More artists to be announced at a later date, for both east and west coast parties.

Ryan Seacrest Extends Deal To Host And Executive Produce "Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve With Ryan Seacrest " On ABC Television Network

 

SANTA MONICA, Calif., -- dick clark productions (dcp) announced today that Ryan Seacrest has extended his deal to continue to host and executive produce "Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve with Ryan Seacrest" for a multi-year term.  The show will again be broadcast on ABC on December 31 ^st.
Seacrest has been involved with the show since December 2005, when he joined Dick Clark for the New Year's Eve special as a co-host. Last year, with Clark's passing, Seacrest became the sole host of the show, which dedicated a full 2-hour tribute to the original host, and was the most watched New Year's Eve special in the U.S. with 22.6 million viewers. The show is a presentation of dick clark productions with Ryan Seacrest and Allen Shapiro serving as executive producers, and Larry Klein as producer.
"I think I will forever be both sentimental and grateful about my experiences with 'Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve'," said Ryan Seacrest.  "Allen and the DCP team, as well as everyone at ABC are my valued partners in carrying Dick's vision forward.
