New York based Hard Rock veterans ADRENALINE MOB have announced their upcoming third studio album, We The People, which will be released June 2nd on Century Media. The new record is the follow up to 2014's 'Men of Honor' and will be the first to feature new drummer Jordan Cannata, as well as new bassist David Zablidowsky (of Trans Siberian Orchestra). As the title, We the People, indicates there’s a political side to Adrenaline Mob. Throughout their years as a musicians and songwriters, they hadn’t stayed silent on matters significant. Whether they were masked in metaphor or flatly conspicuous, they’ve always poured their feelings into song. It was, as Orlando puts it, a form of catharsis. So, as they were watching the presidential campaigns, feeling the negativity—the constant bickering and finger pointing—they knew Adrenaline Mob’s next venture would be impacted. In fact, the first song Orlando began writing for We the People was the politically-charged rocker ‘Blind Leading the Blind’. “The title track is very much inspired by the past election year,” confirms Allen. “It touches on our society, here in America. The album title is a reflection of our times. The songs have certain particular stories that stand on their own. Many of them are also driven by the climate we live in today & some are about having a good time, being free & loving rock n roll. All the tracks have a personality and character to them.”

Today, ADRENALINE MOB and Loudwire.com are revealing the third commentary clip in the ‘Barracuda’ video series, this time featuring commentary from Russell, Mike P., John and Mike O.!. You can watch the video here.

 

“‘Barracuda’ was first presented to myself and Russell from Mike Portnoy. Being a big fan of Heart and knowing their catalog pretty extensively, I was very much into the idea but honestly never heard a male voice attempt it,” states guitarist Mike Orlando. “Well, needless to say once I sat there and began to track Russell's vocals for the song, it was quite evident that yet again he would do an incredible job as always. It's one of my favorite tracks on the album and I think everyone, in true AMOB fashion, hit it out of the park!”

 

Commentary videos for ‘Kill The King’ (originally performed by Rainbow), also cut from Coverta, are scheduled to be revealed soon! You can buy Coverta physically at Best Buy and other major music retailers and digitally at Amazon and iTunes now.

 

ADRENALINE MOB finished up the first leg of their U.S. tour on Sunday, April 7^th. The tour was a great experience for the band and fans alike!

Covers EP ‘Coverta’ to be Released March 12, 2013

 

 

In support of their album Omerta and debut single, ‘Come Undone’, ADRENALINE MOB featuring Russell Allen (Symphony X), Mike Portnoy (Dream Theater), and Mike Orlando (Sonic Stomp) will be commencing a U.S. tour on March 12^th. Additionally on that day, the band will be releasing Coverta, an eight-track EP featuring cover versions of some of the band’s favorite songs. Long time fans of Mike Portnoy are aware of the multiple cover CDs he has released with Dream Theater and with Neal Morse. Coverta is the first CD of covers recorded by ADRENALINE MOB.  The tracks on Coverta are:
