THE LAST INTERNATIONALE ANNOUNCES U.S. HEADLINE TOUR

BAND MAKES ITS NATIONAL TELEVISION DEBUT TONIGHT ON
"LATE SHOW WITH DAVID LETTERMAN"

THE LAST INTERNATIONALE TO SUPPORT ROBERT PLANT IN NOVEMBER

DEBUT ALBUM, WE WILL REIGN, IS OUT NOW ON EPIC RECORDS

The Last Internationale will launch a North American headline tour on September 5 in Las Vegas, NV at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino's Vinyl nightclub. The band, which played numerous summer festivals including Lollapalooza and British Summer Time in Hyde Park, will also perform at the Monster Energy Aftershock Festival in Sacramento, CA (September 13), the Sunset Strip Music Festival in West Hollywood, CA (September 20) and the Austin City Limits Festival (October 5). In November, The Last Internationale will go abroad to support Robert Plant. See below for itinerary.

Tonight the band will make its national television debut on "Late Show with David Letterman," performing "Life, Liberty and Pursuit of Indian Blood." The explosive track is from The Last Internationale's debut album, We Will Reign, which was just released by Epic Records.

New York City natives Delila Paz and Edgey Pires quickly forged a reputation for poetic, socially conscious songs and incendiary live performances, prompting Rolling Stone to declare, "New York's counterculture spirit lives on in The Last Internationale." The pair spent Thanksgiving 2013 at the home of Tom Morello (Rage Against the Machine, The Nightwatchman, Audioslave) and when they mentioned their need for a drummer, Morello connected them with Brad Wilk (Rage Against the Machine, Audioslave). After hearing their material and bonding with Edgey and Delila, Wilk signed on. The trio recorded We Will Reign with producer Brendan O'Brien (Bruce Springsteen, Pearl Jam, Neil Young) in Los Angeles.

The Last Internationale recently opened for Neil Young in Liverpool and has toured with such artists as Weezer and Kings of Leon. The band has won praise for its riveting live shows, with Yahoo! Music noting, "The strikingly fervent, politically-charged rock band The Last Internationale stands out" and Billboard hailing their "hard-hitting modern rock mélange."

MADDIE & TAE GIVE A VOICE TO EVERY “GIRL IN A COUNTRY SONG” IN NEW MUSIC VIDEO

NPR Offers First Look At Critically Acclaimed Duo’s Humorous Music Video

Kevin White for Dot Records

Nashville, TN  – MADDIE & TAE boldly bring a fresh perspective to the radio waves, giving a voice to the often trivialized, “Girl In A Country Song.” NPR exclusively shared the vision earlier today, premiering the official music video for the female duo’s cheeky debut single on Dot Records. While gaining a lot of recent attention, the esteemed outlet notes, “Maddie Marlow, who is 19 years old, and Tae Dye, who is 18, made it abundantly clear that they're aiming to tweak country's conventions, not tear them down.” Watch the unique video here, shot outside of Nashville with director TK McKamy.

Additionally, “Girl In A Country” song was the most-added song at Country radio this week.

Maddie & Tae will make their national television debut
August 11 on NBC’s TODAY .

MusicRow calls the unabashed introduction, "fabulous. They have the guts to sass every ‘bro-country’ cliche out there. She hates her tight cut-offs, her bikini top and being called pretty little thing, hottie or baby. Not to mention being whistled at, shaking her money maker and being invited to ride along in the pickup truck. Bonus points for the lively tune, the catchy track, the saucy harmonies and the overall wit. I guarantee you will smile.”

Maddie & Tae, who penned the tune with Big Machine Music staff writer Aaron Scherz, merged their love of mainstream Country and traditional upbringing into the confident yet carefree track. "…it’s no mystery why this singing and songwriting pair from the neighboring states of Texas (Marlow) and Oklahoma (Dye) has built such buzz. Excellent timing, for one thing. They've arrived on the heels of listener fatigue, offering a different vantage point. And it certainly doesn’t hurt that they have a feel for intertwining their voices, executing their phrasing and crafting their hooks for maximum smartly sweet impact,” surmises Rolling Stone Country.

Their creative insight initially dominated headlines across The AtlanticThe Washington PostCMTYahoo! Music and more, touting the song as “undeniably catchy” and “a deliciously snarky tune.”

Maddie & Tae are currently on the road for their first Country radio tour. Follow their journey on Twitter.
