NASHVILLE, TN (September 9, 2021) – CARLY PEARCE is living in her truth, and it turns out she is not alone. Since her breakout debut with “Every Little Thing,” the chart-topping singer/songwriter from Taylor Mill, Kentucky has sung her heartache with a side of sass rare in modern Country. Carly today earned her first CMA Awards nominations for both Female Vocalist and Album of the Year with 29, part one of a creative expression that will expand to 15 tracks as 29: Written In Stone is released on September 17 via Big Machine Records. With the album preview featuring two-time – and the first female – CMA Musician of the Year Jenee Fleenor, Carly has found a new confidence in the music she was born to.

Leading up to the moment, Carly will make her maiden solo appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! next Wednesday (9/15) to perform the looking-out-for-your-sister “Next Girl.” Tune in at 11:35/10:35c on ABC (check local listings).

Additionally, the GRAMMY Museum® invites Carly for an intimate discussion with Rolling Stone writer Samantha Hissong about the making of 29: WRITTEN IN STONE and a preview of some of the new tracks. Purchase tickets here and view the current COVID-19 safety policy here. Select content will also be available on 9/18 for their public programs digital series Spotlight Saturdays.

Fiercely rooted in the classics, the girl who left her Kentucky home and high school at 16 to take a job at Dollywood has grown into a woman who embraces the genre’s forward progression and is confident in what she wants to say. In a full circle surprise, iconic superstar and Grand Ole Opry member Dolly Parton extended the coveted invitation to Carly after 85+ appearances. The accolade follows her 2X PLATINUM-certified No. 1 “I Hope You’re Happy Now" duet with Lee Brice, which won both the CMA and ACM Awards for Musical/Music Event of the Year as well as ACM Single of the Year.

A committed songwriter, she believes truth and songs are the greatest form of resilience, whether facing the loss of her longtime champion and producer busbee or the end of her marriage. Crowning her upcoming release is “Dear Miss Loretta,” a from-the-heart outreach to Country Music Hall of Famer Loretta Lynn featuring fellow Kentucky icon Patty Loveless. She doubles down on real Country truth-telling with the double-crossed scorn of Ashley McBryde collaboration “Never Wanted To Be That Girl.” Carly not only dissects the human heart through song, but also considers the healing that comes with time.
