THOMAS RHETT PULLS THE CURTAIN BACK ON “THINGS DADS DO"

Available Now Ahead of Father’s Day

NASHVILLE, TN (June 16, 2021) – While continuing to spontaneously preview new music on social media the past two years, superstar and prolific songwriter Thomas Rhett drops “Things Dads Do,” available now via The Valory Music Co. Teaming up with his dad Rhett Akins to write the track alongside Matt Dragstrem and Chase McGill, the timely song effortlessly deploys entertaining tongue-and-cheek lyrics highlighting the amusing habits of fatherhood, while also chronicling the tender full-circle journey of ultimately turning into your dad. Thomas Rhett debuted “Things Dads Do” on the Grand Ole Opry stage over the weekend – watch a clip here and watch the song’s lyric video here.

“This is probably my favorite song I’ve gotten to write with my dad,” said Thomas Rhett." I’ve learned so many life lessons from him, and it’s pretty wild to see so much of him in myself now that I’m a dad. It felt like we should go ahead to release it for all of y’all who have been asking since we wrote it and to celebrate all the dads out there!”

With a centered focus and renewed clarity, award-winning singer/songwriter Thomas Rhett's fifth studio double album COUNTRY AGAIN: SIDE A (The Valory Music Co.) — dubbed "a musical — and personal — homecoming,” (Tennessean) was released on April 30, with SIDE B, planned for release later this year. GOLD-certified lead single “What’s Your Country Song” marks Thomas Rhett’s 17th career No. 1 single and 11th consecutive No. 1 – the longest active streak in the format. As "few singers have played a larger role in defining the sound of country music over the past half-dozen years” (Rolling Stone), Thomas Rhett’s four previous studio albums have spawned nearly 10 BILLION total career streams while he’s received two CMA Triple Play awards for penning three No. 1 songs within a 12-month period, adding to his collection of trophies from the Country Music Association, Academy of Country Music, Billboard Music Awards, CMT Music Awards and more. “At the top of his musical game” (Winnipeg Free Press), the in-demand superstar will mark his return to the road with his THE CENTER POINT ROAD TOUR, launching in August. This relief fund is dedicated to assisting touring musicians unable to make a living due to the pandemic. Now that venues are opening back up, he’s back on the road where he feels most at home, performing for his fans. Today, he’s announced an extensive run of 33 dates across the U.S. for Fall 2021.

Tickets to Bonamassa’s Summer 2021 U.S. tour are on sale now and the Fall dates will be available for purchase this Friday, June 11. Tickets for all shows available at http://joeb.me/JB-Tickets.

Bonamassa, backed by a stellar band of legendary musicians, will perform brand new songs alongside career-spanning fan favorites.

Hailed internationally as one of the greatest guitar players of his generation and cited by Guitar World Magazine as “the world's biggest blues guitarist,” Bonamassa has almost single-handedly redefined the blues-rock genre and brought it into the mainstream.

The Fall tour, which will span 32 cities, kicks off with two nights at the legendary Ryman Auditorium in Nashville where Joe recorded his new live release, Now Serving: Royal Tea Live From The Ryman.

Now, to celebrate the return of live shows, the concert has been re-mixed and mastered for physical release as Now Serving: Royal Tea Live From The Ryman”. On June 11th it will be released on CD and all streaming platforms, followed by the DVD and Blu-ray on June 18th. The special edition double LP vinyl will be released July 9. The DVD includes a film introduction narrated by actor Jeff Daniels. To order, visit https://joeb.me/NowServing. It also includes three tracks from his 20th-anniversary album A New Day Now.

There’s never been a more important time to celebrate and enjoy live music, so what better way to do it than with one of the most mesmerizing live performers and powerful Blues Rock players in the world. NASHVILLE, TN (June 9, 2021) – With a renewed sense of inner strength and hope, the multi-Platinum band Lady A announce details today behind their upcoming WHAT A SONG CAN DO (CHAPTER ONE) (BMLG Records) collection, set to be released June 25. After spending last year in rediscovery mode while recommitting themselves to their original intention, the trio emerged with a new, refined vision.  The seven-track ensemble, produced by Dann Huff and with each track penned by at least one member, reinvigorates their signature rich vocal harmony, vivid emotional writing and a smooth fusion of Country, rock and pop. The new music is not dedicated to the struggles of 2020, but it was born alongside them and adds a layer of uplifting depth to Lady A’s catalog. WHAT A SONG CAN DO (CHAPTER ONE) will be available for pre-order this Friday (6/11) here alongside its gentle and wise new track “Things He Handed Down.”

“There’s an interdependence that we have with each other, and music is at the center of that to me,” Hillary Scott said. “We are all living in the now together…we’re all a work in progress, and that is what we wanted to share with these songs on the first chapter."

With a renewed appreciation for their music and the friendship that made it possible, Lady A offers an honest self examination while striving to be present and preaching empowered affirmation, all with the sonic blend they’re best known for. Together, they explore musically through a pure-Country lens of love, loss and laughter. The quintessential Lady A title-track for WHAT A SONG CAN DO (CHAPTER ONE) opens the trio's hearts to a fresh start, while songs like “Talk of This Town” and “Fire” use third degree romantic burns as a metaphor for adversity. “Worship What I Hate” takes a brutally-honest look at who we become if we’re not paying attention and “Chance of Rain” reminds us not to play it safe in matters of life and love. The gentle “Things He Handed Down” dusts off some heirloom wisdom, questioning how it’s put to use.

WHAT A SONG CAN DO (CHAPTER ONE) TRACK LIST

1. “Talk Of This Town” | Dave Haywood, Charles Kelley, Hillary Scott, Nicolle Galyon, Jordan Reynolds
2. “What A Song Can Do” | Charles Kelley, Sam Ellis, Ryan Hurd, Laura Veltz
3. “Like A Lady” | Hillary Scott, Dave Barnes, Michelle Buzz, Martin Johnson, Brandon Paddock
4. “Things He Handed Down” | Charles Kelley, Julian Bunetta, Jesse Frasure, Thomas Rhett
5. “Fire” | Dave Haywood, Charles Kelley, Hillary Scott, Justin Ebach
6. “Chance Of Rain” | Dave Haywood, Charles Kelley, Topher Brown, Justin Ebach
7. “Worship What I Hate” | Dave Haywood, Hillary Scott, Natalie Hemby, Amy Wadge

Built around rich vocal harmony, vivid emotional writing and a smooth fusion of Country, rock and pop, Lady A have long been a model of mainstream success. Their 11 No. 1s, 18 million albums sold, 34 million tracks, five billion digital streams and a global touring footprint prove the point. Known for their 9X PLATINUM hit “Need You Now,” which is the highest certified song by a Country group, they have earned CMA Awards Vocal Group of the Year trophies three years in a row and countless other honors including five GRAMMY Awards, Billboard Music Awards, People’s Choice Awards, Teen Choice Awards, a Tony Award nod and were recently inducted as members of the Grand Ole Opry. The 34-city LADY A: WHAT A SONG CAN DO TOUR will launch July 29th in Uncasville, CT with special guests Carly Pearce, Niko Moon and Tenille Arts, with a portion of the ticket sales going towards LadyAID, the group’s philanthropic fund.
