(Tickets On-Sale 9/20 at 5pm)

“When I’m writing a song, it’s not about the hot licks, it’s about the voice and how it can be showcased from song to song,” says musician Jeff Austin. His focus is on transporting his audience by way of his vocal: “It’s the direct communication with the crowd — not just asking them how they’re feeling, but bringing something out of them.” For Austin, the act of speaking to people through his art really means using his voice. The career of the Colorado-based artist has already seen him break through jam and bluegrass scenes, play stages from The Fillmore Auditorium to Red Rocks Amphitheater, and outdoor events like Telluride Bluegrass Festival and Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival, among many others. But with the launch of his solo career in 2014, Austin is now building on the foundations of previous ventures while honing his own sound and charting new courses. “I’ve learned a lot from the people I’ve played with,” says Austin who has shared stages with such luminaries as Del McCoury, Jerry Douglas, Sam Bush, Earle Scruggs, Jon Fishman, and Phil Lesh. And it’s artists such as these who have helped crystalize Austin’s idea of what he wants to do as he moves forward with his eponymous project. “From both the rock side and the bluegrass side,” he explains, “I’ve learned a lot about song structure, solo ideas, playing with guts, and being who you are.”

Kesha Delivers a Rallying Cry Of Empowerment on "Here Comes The Change"

New Song Included In New Feature Film On the Basis of Sex, Inspired by a Young Ruth Bader Ginsburg

Art By Renowned Artist Shepard Fairey & Partners With HeadCount Non-Profit Around Single

LISTEN HERE: http://smarturl.it/KxHCTC

Today, Kesha releases "Here Comes The Change," an acoustic guitar-led rallying cry of empowerment, featured in the upcoming Participant Media film On the Basis of Sex, opening December 25 (limited) in association with Alibaba Pictures and distributed by Focus Features.

With lyrics (written by Kesha with Drew Pearson and Wrabel specifically for the film) that meditate on the battle for universal equality combined with Kesha's wildly passionate vocal delivery (a highlight of her GRAMMY-nominated latest album 'Rainbow'), "Here Comes The Change" echoes the sentiments of the film which tells an inspiring and spirited story that follows young lawyer Ruth Bader Ginsburg as she teams with her husband Marty to bring a groundbreaking case before the U.S. Court of Appeals and overturn a century of gender discrimination. The feature will premiere in 2018 in line with Justice Ginsburg's 25th anniversary on the Supreme Court.

Moved by the power of the song and the film, renowned artist and social activist Shepard Fairey created the single art for "Here Comes The Change." Kesha also joined forces with non-profit organization HeadCount on the lyric video to encourage fans to vote. Watch here: http://smarturl.it/KxHCTClv

In an essay for Refinery 29, Kesha wrote about the message of equality and empowerment echoed in both the film and her new song, saying "Together we can prove to our leaders and the rest of the world that we will not tolerate challenges to equality and freedom in our country." Read here: https://www.refinery29.com/en-us/2018/09/208707/kesha-young-voters-change-midterm-elections-essay

"I greatly admire Kesha's artistry and commitment to activism," said Mimi Leder, director of On the Basis of Sex. "I wanted her to write this song because her passionate voice and immense talent magnify the social justice imperatives Ruth Bader Ginsburg continues to fight for every day. It was important to both of us that this song be not only an anthem to all that Ruth Bader Ginsburg achieved, but also a rallying cry for how much more change is yet to come."

ABOUT KESHA: Kesha's latest album 'Rainbow' debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200 chart, was called "an artistic feat" by Entertainment Weekly and "the best music of her career" by Rolling Stone, and earned the singer/songwriter the first GRAMMY nominations of her career at this year's ceremony where she also performed the nominated single "Praying". This year she was also named one of Time Magazine's Time 100, their most influential people in the world, just wrapped a nine-week, 30-market co-headlining tour with Macklemore, and also just released the behind-the-scenes documentary 'Rainbow - The Film' on Apple Music (produced by Magic Seeds Productions) which she directed along with her brother Lagan Sebert and Kevin Hayden.

THE “ONE THAT GOT AWAY” TAKES MICHAEL RAY BEHIND THE SCENES IN MIAMI FOR NEW MUSIC VIDEO

Watch the World Premiere of the Music Video HERE and on CMT TODAY
Michael Ray releases new music video for "One That Got Away"
MIAMI, Fla.—"Real Miami. Five min. Alley door.” Those cryptic six words from a mysterious and alluring stranger lead country star Michael Ray out the side door of a crowded, South Beach tourist trap and straight into the heart of Miami in the new music video for his current single, “One That Got Away.”

The video opens with a montage of colors, lights and sounds, depicting a story of a tired tourist who thinks he’s seen it all until an unlikely companion shows him there’s more to Miami than the flash of South Beach.

“We wanted to treat Miami as its own character in this video because we felt that this city really had a personality and an energy of its own -- reminiscent of the energy I feel on stage night-after-night, city-after-city when we play this song live,” Ray shares about the video directed by Sean Hagwell. “I also wanted to get outside of my comfort zone. So, we flew down to Miami and what you see in this video was really us –experiencing all these things together; really just being in the moment.”

"One That Got Away" features a cast of Miami locals who led to its authenticity.

Penned by Nashville hit-makers Josh Osborne, Matthew Ramsey, Trevor Rosen and Jesse Frasure, “One That Got Away” has become a fan-favorite on tour, quickly becoming a staple in Ray’s live sets and climbing the Country radio charts. With its singalong chorus, the track that MusicRow calls a “bouncy, mid-tempo outing with loads of hooks” takes a fun and carefree look at a relationship with a person that might be a little out of your league.

Ray recently performed the song on Good Morning America and continues to bring it to fair and festival crowds across the nation. The track is one of 11 featured on his sophomore album, Amos, which debuted in the Top 3 on the Billboard Country Albums Chart upon its release this June.

This fall, Ray hits the road playing direct support to Old Dominion on their Happy Endings World Tour. For tour dates and more information, visit michaelraymusic.com.

About Michael Ray
Country singer-songwriter Michael Ray was a hit right out of the box, scoring both with critics and on the charts. With Country Aircheck boasting there are "big things on the horizon for Michael Ray" and his live shows lauded by USA Today as simply “lip-smacking good," the Florida native backed up that praise with two number ones from his 2015 self-titled debut album with “Kiss You in the Morning” and “Think a Little Less.”  His sophomore album, Amos, which debuted in the Top 3 on the Billboard Country Charts upon release has already spawned the hit “Get to You” and new single "One That Got Away," which All Access declared "an undeniable crowd pleaser." Inspired by his rescue dog Wrigley, Michael Ray created the charitable initiative Wrigley Cares: Helping Animals in Need, collecting donations for local animal shelters at every stop on his “Get To You" Tour in partnership with Zappos For Good. This summer Michael Ray hits the road to play a variety of shows and festivals and will play direct support on Old Dominion’s Happy Endings World Tour this fall. Learn more about Ray at MichaelRayMusic.com or follow him on Facebook at facebook.com/MusicMichaelRay, Instagram @michaelraymusic and Twitter @MichaelrayMusic.

ALL THEM WITCHES UNCOVER "DIAMOND" VIDEO

FLOOD PREMIERES TODAY

"DIAMOND" HERALDS EAGERLY ANTICIPATED NEW LP, ATW

EPIC WORLD TOUR BEGINS OCTOBER 12 AT DESERT DAZE
IN LAKE PERRIS, CA

ATW ARRIVES EVERYWHERE ON FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 28

All Them Witches has announced today's premiere of an extraordinary new visual. "Diamond" is streaming now at the Nashville-based psych-rock experimentalists' official YouTube channel. In addition, the track is available now at all DSPs and streaming services. FLOOD magazine premiered the video earlier today, saying, "Nashville's sludgiest jam band carry over their genre-blending brilliance to the video for their latest single."

WATCH "DIAMOND"

Directed by All Them Witches drummer Robby Staebler, "Diamond" heralds All Them Witches' hugely anticipated fifth studio album, ATW, out September 28th via New West Records and available now for pre-order in a variety of unique formats HERE.
"Visually I wanted to present the song in a cinematic and contemplative way," says Staebler, "something that people enjoy re-watching and finding new details in. I wanted a lush landscape and a peaceful and patient environment to work in. Something that would bleed its own blood into the final product by simply existing in the place. I shot the video on 16mm film on location and in studio. Film bleeds its own blood too and I think this video holds the real feelings of the song, the environment and the medium."
"I wanted 'Diamond' to show two sides of a common problem I have with my ego and personality," adds All Them Witches singer-bassist Charles Michael Parks, Jr. "The first is being content with where I am, physically and mentally, and the second being a constant drive to leave, to go anywhere other than where I am, to let my scattered thoughts draw me to a comparable scattered lifestyle. If forced to go to town, I seem to develop the city equivalent of allergies and slowly take note as my windpipe or nasal cavities shut down. I don't get sick at home and I seem to always get sick on tour. Music does not exist in the country though. I can't get on stage in the cow pasture and let my aggression out, so I go on tour to satiate a lust for a non-sedentary lifestyle and stay home to drown out the sensory Hellscape of the city. Both personalities can and do appear at random, and both can take the wheel and lead me anywhere."
Produced by All Them Witches guitarist Ben McLeod and mixed by Rob Schnapf (Beck, Elliott Smith, Kurt Vile), ATW also includes the recently unveiled single, "Fishbelly 86 Onions," available for streaming and download HERE; an official visualizer is streaming now at the band's official YouTube channel HERE.
All Them Witches will celebrate ATW with an epic North American headline tour, kicking off Friday, October 12th at Lake Perris, CA's Desert Daze alongside such like-minded artists as Tame Impala, Warpaint, Connan Mockasin, and more. That Sunday, October 14th, will then see All Them Witches rocking the Monster Energy Aftershock Festival, joining a stacked bill that also features System of a Down, Alice In Chains, At The Drive-In, and many others. For complete details and ticket information, please visit www.allthemwitches.org/tour.
In addition, All Them Witches will cross the Atlantic next year for a major European tour, set to begin April 11th in Helsinki, Finland before making stops in Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Belgium, France, Spain, Italy, Austria, Czech Republic, Poland, the Netherlands, England, and Wales.

ATW follows All Them Witches' sprawling fourth studio LP, SLEEPING THROUGH THE WAR, acclaimed worldwide upon its 2017 release. "Stoner rock is crying out for an overhaul," wrote Classic Rock. "Thankfully, All Them Witches are taking it apart and piecing it back together again. Not for them the slavish Iommi worship of your average bong-huffing longhairs. The Nashville band's fourth album parties like it's 1969 and 2019, looking forward to the future as much as it does backwards over a well-trodden past." "SLEEPING THROUGH THE WAR is a slow burning experience but once that fire is lit then there's no putting it out," enthused The Quietus. "Harnessing classic rock tropes and transposing them to the present, it encapsulates All Them Witches beautifully, a mélange of influences and contemporary statement that smolders before blinding ignition." "Bands have been ladling big, colourful spoonfuls of psychedelia over the bare bones of the blues for generations," declared CLASH in a 9/10 rave, "but somehow All Them Witches find a way to make it sound exciting and brand new...(SLEEPING THROUGH THE WAR) is so flawlessly crafted that I could happily compare it to Zep's 4 without feeling blasphemous, a rare honour indeed."

MITCHELL TENPENNY’S “DRUNK ME” BLITZES TOP 20
The Nashville Native’s Buzzworthy Major Label Debut Nears GOLD
Billboard Taps Tenpenny to Break Out in 2018
Mitchell Tenpenny | Photo Credit: Jim Wright | Type: JPG | Size: 2 MB | >Download
NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Riser House/Columbia Nashville’s Mitchell Tenpenny first noticed his boozy “Drunk Me” felt different than the other songs he’d released independently while on the road earlier this year with Maren Morris. However, it wasn’t until this week when the single breached Top 20 at Country radio that it really clicked for the Nashville native who grew up playing in the hallways of some of the most esteemed Music Row houses under the watchful eye of his grandmother, industry veteran and first female CEO of Sony/ATV, Donna Hilley.

“Growing up around the business of the music industry, I remember thinking some days really inspire creativity and others can just take it right out of you. I think that’s why I write the way I do as the business is like songwriting: there’s beauty and pain, it just depends on your perspective,” reflects Tenpenny. “‘Drunk Me’ is an aberration, yet we’ve all been there. We’ve had fans tell us after performing it on the road that it’s helped them – and not just kept them from drunk dialing, but it’s helped them grieve and connect in a way we never expected the song to do, so in that way, this being our first Top 20 is really special as it’s taken on different meanings with so many people.”

It’s that unique perspective that has Billboard predicting Tenpenny’s breakout success in 2018, noting, “Whether it's the desperation in ‘Drunk Me,’ the acidic revenge in ‘Bitches’ or the lack of self-control in ‘Alcohol You Later,’ he approaches a microphone with a biting ferocity,” and has Taste of Country opining, “Tenpenny doesn't just write — he builds songs.”

Tenpenny wrote 56 songs for his first full album expected later this year, having since narrowed it down to what will become his first major label release. He adds, “I’m so humbled to be in this position – I know the work that goes into even getting a song played on the radio, so to be Top 20 on our first single, and to have the fans requesting it like they are, is so special. I’ve waited my whole life for this moment. Thank you for giving ‘Drunk Me’ a shot!”

About: Mitchell Tenpenny is a rugged individualist who operates with confidence in the space between contradictory themes. He’s an authentic, fearless songwriter and performer penning hits and touring with Maren Morris, Jake Owen, Brett Young, Lynyrd Skynyrd, and Dustin Lynch among others. He has already been tapped as the opener on two major tours in 2019 with details coming soon. Multiplicity is also reflected in his diverse musical taste and soulful vocal delivery, which is gaining an ardent audience. His self-titled EP on Riser House/Columbia Records has garnered more than 70 million On-Demand Audio + Video Streams and Top 20 single “Drunk Me,” has amassed more than 60 million On-Demand Streams at the astonishing rate of more than 3 million a week, securing “Drunk Me” as the highest-charting debut single on both country charts.

Jackson Browne to Receive 2018 Gandhi Peace Award Presented by Robert F. Kennedy, Jr.

On September 14 Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. will introduce Jackson Browne as he receives the Gandhi Peace Award from Promoting Enduring Peace at the Lyman Center for the Performing Arts starting at 7:30 pm
Kennedy, the second son of the late Sen. Robert F. Kennedy, is an American environmental attorney, author, and activist who serves as president of the board of Waterkeeper Alliance, a non-profit environmental group that he helped found in 1999.
Dr. Joseph Bertolino, president of Southern Connecticut State University, will greet the audience, as will Andrew Wolf, New Haven's Director of Arts, Culture and Tourism. Ben Grosscup and Luci Murphy of the People's Music Network will begin the evening with musical tributes. Chris George of IRIS (Integrated Refugee & Immigrant Services) and Frida Berrigan, columnist for Waging Peace and daughter of Philip Berrigan, will also speak.
Jackson Browne is the first artist to receive the Gandhi Peace Award. He is being honored for extraordinary contributions of time and talent to the inseparable causes of world peace, environmental harmony, and social justice. The Award comes with a cash prize and a medallion forged from peace bronze composed of metals salvaged from the control systems of U.S. nuclear missiles. The Award Ceremony will feature short musical tributes by local performers, an appeal for action on the local and planetary levels, and the presentation of the Award itself. Consistent with tradition, Browne has been invited "to present a message of challenge and hope" to those in attendance.
The Gandhi Peace Award, named after Indian anti-imperialist and nonviolence advocate Mohandas Gandhi, derives its international renown from those who have accepted it over the years, beginning with Eleanor Roosevelt in 1960. Among the other 53 awardees are Linus Pauling, Martin Luther King, Jr., Norman Thomas, William Sloane Coffin, Benjamin Spock, Wayne Morse, U Thant, Dorothy Day, Daniel Ellsberg, Kay Camp, César Chávez, Marian Wright Edelman, and George McGovern. Since 2011 the Award has been accepted by Arik Ascherman (Rabbis for Human Rights), Amy Goodman (Democracy Now!), Bill McKibben (350.org), Medea Benjamin (Code Pink), Omar Barghouti (BDS), and Ralph Nader (Public Citizen).
Jackson Browne has composed and performed songs widely regarded as among the most literate and moving songs in popular music, defining a genre of songwriting charged with honesty, emotion, and personal politics. Inducted in 2004 into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and in 2007 into the Songwriters Hall of Fame, he has three albums counted among Rolling Stone magazine's 500 greatest albums of all time and Rolling Stone numbered him among the top 40 "greatest songwriters of all time."
Browne has organized or participated in numerous benefit performances to support the environment, social justice, and human rights as well as causes such as music and arts education in public schools and has worked with two former Gandhi Peace Award recipients, Amnesty International (1978) and the Children's Defense Fund (1990). He was awarded an honorary Doctorate of Music by Occidental College for "a remarkable musical career that has successfully combined intensely personal artistry with a broader vision of social justice."
Several of his albums, such as Lives in the Balance, World in Motion, Looking East, and Standing in the Breach, directly challenge imperialist foreign policy, environmental short-sightedness, and corporate greed, and question the sustainability of the present civilization. The title track of LivesintheBalance calls out the "shadow on the faces / Of the men who send the guns / Of the wars that are fought in places / Where their business interest runs" in civil wars in Nicaragua, El Salvador, and Guatemala.
In response to the Three Mile Island nuclear near-catastrophe in 1979, Browne co-founded the groups Musicians United for Safe Energy (MUSE) and in more recent years, Nukefree.org. During the 1980s he was active in the Central America solidarity movement, co-organizing concerts in Nicaragua, Cuba, and elsewhere.  Lately he has turned his attention to the seas as a founding member of the advocacy group Ocean Elders.
Last December Browne released the moving song "The Dreamer" to shine light on the new deportation threat under the Trump administration for those who have been protected temporarily under the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program.
