“100% REAL...ROCK AS PURE AS THE DRIVEN SNOW...GENIUSNESS...RAW ENERGY...
CLASSIC ROCK RIGHT IN THE MODERN DAY...
ROCK IS NOT ONLY ALIVE, BUT IT’S AS NASTY AND IN-YOUR-FACE AS EVER”

THE CRITICS HAVE SPOKEN,
THE TEMPERANCE MOVEMENT IS THE REAL DEAL AND
THEY’RE BRINGING THE “FIREPOWER” TO THE U.S. FOR
A NEW ROUND OF HEADLINING TOUR DATES

“If Rock ‘n’ Roll is to be saved, or even needs saving, bands like this will lead the way...The band comes across as if they were spoon fed classic guitar rock since the day they were born, and the beauty is that they are 100% real – nothing slick, nothing corporate about them...organic...Yup, this is rock as pure as the driven snow and sure, they wear their roots on their sleeves, but they wear them damned well. They have a genuineness that harkens back to The Stones, Free, then later The Black Crowes, and now into the glorious teens. Phil Campbell is THE TEMPERANCE MOVEMENT’s frontman and he has the full package—great voice, looks like he belongs in front of a mic, and he writes straight from the heart. His passion and enthusiasm comes across like a young Joe Cocker, half in control, and halfway to the moon...As long as there are bands like THE TEMPERANCE MOVEMENT, rock ‘n’ roll will never die.”

Pretty much sums up everything you need to know about THE TEMPERANCE MOVEMENT.

While the U.K. band’s summer U.S. trek recently concluded and garnered rave reviews at every stop, they’re not going to stay away for very long.  Touring in support of their critically acclaimed second album, WHITE BEAR, THE TEMPERANCE MOVEMENT (vocalist Phil Campbell, bassist Nick Fyffe, guitarists Paul Sayer and Matt White, drummer Damon Wilson) will continue to bring the raucous new rock 'n roll animal to the U.S. starting September 17 in Portland, ME at the Portland House of Music and Events and concluding October 18 in Destin, FL at Club L.A.

WHITE BEAR--released July 15 on Fantasy Records--is the highly anticipated follow up to their critically acclaimed self-titled debut album, which spawned the anthemic hit single, “Take It Back.” Fueled by their inclusion in  iHeartRadio’s ‘On The Verge’ developing artist program, the song quickly reached the Top 10 on Billboard’s Mainstream Rock Tracks chart last spring.  Additionally, the band was tapped by The Rolling Stones to be the opening act at their show in Orlando, FL on June 12, 2015 at the Orlando Citrus Bowl.  They had previously opened for The Rolling Stones in 2014 in Berlin, Vienna, Zurich and Dusseldorf.

After garnering stellar reviews overseas, WHITE BEAR has added praise by the U.S. media to the mix:

“...a lot of firepower and gusto – heavy, yet melodic and driving.”

“Their new release features a dozen tracks of raw energy poured into each song.”

-- Record-Journal (CT)

Getting classic rock right in the modern day is a tricky task: it requires injecting a sense of '70s spirit while bringing something fresh to the table, but nobody treads the line quite so successfully as achingly authentic U.K. blues-rockers THE TEMPERANCE MOVEMENT.

WHITE BEAR is the answer to all those naysayers who proclaim ‘Rock is dead.” THE TEMPERANCE MOVEMENT is proof that rock is not only alive, but it’s as nasty and in-your-face as ever. The only criticism that I can offer is that WHITE BEAR should come with a label that says, ‘For Best Results, Play At Full Volume!’”

-- BluesRockReview.com

“With a heavier sound and deeper lyrics, THE TEMPERANCE MOVEMENT have matured quite nicely; at the same time, not losing any of the spirit and energy they are known for. They’re just better and WHITE BEAR is the proof in the pudding.”

-- Glidemagazine.com

“...THE TEMPERANCE MOVEMENT has yet again become the rock n’ roll messiah for those weary souls yearning for genuine rock...WHITE BEAR has breathed life back into what was a dwindling music scene.... For those of you unfamiliar with the group, THE TEMPERANCE MOVEMENT will have you remembering all the feelings you had the first time you heard rock n’ roll.”

And on the live front, THE TEMPERANCE MOVEMENT never disappoints. NationalRockReview.com recently praised: “If you haven’t yet seen THE TEMPERANCE MOVEMENT live, you should, if for no other reason than to witness the fire-cracker performance of frontman, Phil Campbell. Even on their slower songs, he can still be seen jumping and dancing around the stage, waving his arms in the air... While The Temperance Movement are known for having an energy-ball of a frontman, it would be unfair to reduce them to a one-man band. Paul pulls out some of the funkiest guitar riffs that you will hear. Add to that the perfectly timed rhythm section of Nick Fyffe on bass and Damon Wilson on drums, and you get the hard-hitting, punchy songs that have got this five-piece noticed. Their chemistry on stage is infectious; the guys are clearly having a great time.”
