NASHVILLE, TN (March 21, 2016) – Hank Williams Jr. will light up morning television when he appears on NBC’s TODAY to
talk about his ‘family tradition’ in the music business this Tuesday,
March 22 beginning at 7A (all time zones/check local listings). Hank
Jr.'s daughter Holly joins him for a sit-down interview and acoustic
performance for Jenna Bush Hager's “Family Business” series.
Hank Jr. invited TODAY to Nashville where he opened up about his 37th studio album It’s About Time (Nash
Icon Records), which achieved the highest peak position of Hank Jr.’s
career with a No. 2 position on Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart. He
also expands on the dynamics of his children, including Holly, as they
pursue their dreams in the music industry.
The
rowdy icon will perform fresh music and classic hits throughout
upcoming performances at the CMA Music Festival on June 10 and
co-headline dates during a special limited Summer tour with Chris
Stapleton. The two music renegades will visit 8 cities lined up in
Tampa, Houston, Austin, West Palm Beach, Detroit (Clarkston), Cleveland,
Indianapolis and Cincinnati. The country legend's 2016 shows have all
