The
2015-16 Training Camp will be open to the public on both Saturday,
Sept. 19th and Sunday, Sept. 20th at Scottrade Center, giving fans a
chance to see their favorite Blues players on the ice for the first time
this season.
As
a prelude to camp, the Blues will kick-off Saturday’s events with a
ceremony to commemorate the new Blues Hall-of-Fame Plaza at 9:30 a.m.
Hall-of-Famers Bernie Federko, Brett Hull and
Al MacInnis will be on-hand as the organization unveils the plaza bricks for the first time.
Following the program, the Blues will open Scottrade Center doors to all fans.
Each
training camp day will feature two camp sessions and two scrimmages.
The first session will begin at 10 a.m. and the second at 12:30 p.m.,
while scrimmages are scheduled for 11:15 a.m. and 1:45 p.m.
On Saturday
only, fans can visit the Blues merchandise trailer, which will be set up
outside of the True Blues Authentic Team Store, and enjoy open
concessions at various locations inside Scottrade Center.
In
addition, the Blues will offer a kids area inside, featuring a
slap-shot machine, “dress like a player,” a Kids Club table and a prize
wheel courtesy of McDonalds.
A
total of 60 players will participate in this year’s camp. Fans can
