OLD ROCK HOUSE ANNOUNCES FOUR SHOWS.....
The Hatrick Band

These will all be On-Sale Thurs. 1/9 @ 5pm (excluding BAM).

Head for the Hills & Zach Deputy
Wednesday, February 5th
Doors 7pm Show 8pm
$10 Advance $12 Day of Show
All Ages

How does one describe Head for the Hills... post-bluegrass, progressive string music, modern acoustic noir, and bluegrass bricolage.  “On top of modern string music,” (Bluegrass Today), “Cutting edge,” (Drew Emmitt) or “Best in Colorado Bluegrass” (Westword Showcase Readers Poll)—those are up there too. Strip away the artful descriptors and you have a forward thinking group of {mostly} acoustic musicians drawing on eclectic influences, tastes and styles.

On his new release Another Day, Zach Deputy demonstrates his extraordinary ability to perform and record in multiple contexts and conveys the sensibilities of a mature singer/songwriter. Rich with ballads and mid-tempo songs, the music on this recording is best described as soulful rhythm and blues.

BAM! Bluegrass Avalanche in Missouri!
feat. The Hatrick & Acoustics Anonymous
Saturday, February 8th
Doors 8pm Show 9pm
$10 Cover  18+

The Hatrick sees fit to represent the sovereign state of Missouri with their own breed of bluegrass music: Stompgrass. Every member of the Hatrick sings… every member plays percussion with their feet... and with their remaining limbs; they incorporate acoustic guitar, bass, mandolin, drums, fiddle, hamonica, washboard, and whatever else they can fit in the trailer.

Granger Smith
with special guest Earl Dibbles Jr.
Wednesday, April 23rd
Doors 7pm Show 8pm
$10 Advance $12 Day of Show
All Ages

Granger Smith, the Texas born-and-bred singer/songwriter, has been busy reinventing the face of traditional country one chart-topping single at a time. By consistently providing blended hits that are well outside the realm of “typical,” Granger’s music provides a refreshing and unique variation on the growing independent country music scene. He's even successfully launched a crowd-pleasing alter-ego, "country boy" Earl Dibbles Jr. "Earl represents at least half of my family, so it was easy to jump in my old truck, grab my shotgun and slip right into character,"Granger admits. They could never have imagined the viral success Dibbles has become, with his own single “The Country Boy Song,” music video and legions of fans.
