Moscow Ballet's Great Russian Nutcracker returns to Peabody Opera House for one night, December 8 at 5 p.m.!
The holiday favorite dramatizes the traditional story of Masha meeting her “Prince” and, exclusive to Moscow Ballet’s Great Russian Nutcracker, adds a tribute to world peace as well. The “Dove of Peace,” for which 2 dancers become one bird with a 20 foot wingspan, escorts Masha and Prince to the “Land of Peace and Harmony.”Celebrate the beauty of the holidays and the best of Russian ballet in Moscow Ballet’s Great Russian Nutcracker!

OPEN AUDITIONS - Moscow Ballet announces open auditions on Saturday, Oct. 26th, 5:00 pm for student dancers ages 7 to 16 years at Dance Project St Louis, 912 H Meramec Station Road, Valley Park, MO 63049. Moscow Ballet’s “Dance with Us” Audition Director Carolina Siscanu will be present to select 60 dancers to perform as Party Children, Mice, Snowflakes, Angels, and many more roles in the Great Russian Nutcracker on December 8 at 5 pm at the Peabody Opera House.
