(St. Louis, MO) Gospel stars Fred Hammond, Mary Mary, Broderick Rice and Jessica Reedy bring their chart-topping singles when “Gospel Fest” hits Chaifetz Arena at Saint Louis University for a special Mother’s Day celebration on Sunday, May 13 at 7 p.m.

Tickets are $31.50, $41.50, $50.50 and $57.50 and are on-sale at MetroTix.com, charge by phone at 314-534-1111 and the Chaifetz Arena Box Office.  A limited number of VIP tickets are available and include a buffet dinner for $127.

Ruling the Gospel airwaves for over 25 years, Fred Hammond has sold over seven million albums between his solo work and albums with pioneering urban groups Commissioned and Radical for Christ.  Hammond’s most recent solo album, “God, Love and Romance” reached No. 8 on the Billboard Top 200 and was the No. 1 Gospel Album upon its release in January.  Over his career, Hammond has been nominated for 13 Grammy Awards and won in 2008 for the Best Contemporary R&B/Gospel Album for “Free to Worship.” Hammond and his various groups have won numerous Gospel Music Association Dove Awards and Stellar Gospel Music Awards.

Sister duo Mary Mary broke through in 2000 with the crossover hit “Shackles (Praise You)” and their debut album “Thankful.” Since its initial release, “Thankful” has certified Platinum, won the Grammy Award for Best Contemporary Gospel Album and was the No. 1 Gospel Billboard album along with three of their other albums “Incredible,” “Mary Mary” and “The Sound” which are all certified Gold.  Their latest release, “Something Big” charted at the top on the Gospel Billboard charts, as well as reached No. 10 on the Billboard Top 200 albums. Mary Mary has won two other Grammy Awards for Best Gospel Performance for “Get Up” and Best Gospel Song for “God in Me” and have won over 30 awards ranging from multiple Dove and Stellar Awards to an NAACP Image Award for Best Gospel Artist.

Comedian and singer Broderick Rice has had a lasting career with both talents. His debut comedy and music album “Broderick E. Rice Alive” debuted at No. 2 on the Gospel Billboard chart. Best known for his powerful and energetic comedic performances, Broderick Rice does vocal impressions of such personalities as Marvin Winans, Luther Vandross, and the legendary Reverend James Cleveland.

Newcomer Jessica Reedy broke into the gospel music charts after she was the runner up on the second season of BET’s “Sunday’s Best” competition. Her debut album “From the Heart” was the No. 1 Billboard Gospel Album as well as the No. 1 on the iTunes Gospel chart.
