June 3, 2021 (Los Angeles, CA) – Today, Steve Earle & The Dukes have announced a US tour, beginning on July 1 in New Braunfels, TX and ending on September 4 in Beaver Dam, KY – with more dates to come. Steve will also later play solo dates in the fall, following the tour with the band. The iconic Americana artist and his band most recently released his 20th studio album J.T., a tribute to Steve’s late son Justin Townes Earle, on January 4 of this year. From that album was the song “The Saint Of Lost Causes,” a cover of Justin’s 2019 song from the album of the same name. Today, Steve and the band’s rendition of “The Saint Of Lost Causes” has also received a new live version, with a video by Ehud Lazin that was originally shot at the new City Winery in New York City.

Camp Copperhead, Steve Earle’s songwriting camp, featuring various workshops, private performances, and collaboration opportunities, is also resuming this year from September 7 – 10 at Full Moon Resort in Big Indian, NY. This will be the camp’s seventh year and will also feature Anders Osborne & Anaïs Mitchell.

J.T. was celebrated by the press, with Steve speaking to The New York Times about the process of making the album and later performing the songs "Far Away in Another Town" and “Harlem River Blues” on Jimmy Kimmel Live! American Songwriter said of the record; “the heartbreak is palatable and one can’t help but be moved by both the confession and the candor. Indeed, the poignancy is not without purpose,” while Stereogum wrote “the elder Earle and his band the Dukes remind us what an impeccable writer his son was, delivering 10 warm, earnest interpretations of Justin’s songs that brim with aching beauty.”

100% of the artist advances and royalties from J.T. are being donated to a trust for Etta St. James Earle, the three-year-old daughter of Justin and Jenn Earle.

WHEN: Saturday, June 5, 2021 (rain date Sunday, June 6, 2021)

TIME: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

WHERE: Outside the St. Louis Aquarium at Union Station in the River Park Plaza, 201 S. 18th St., St. Louis, MO 63103.

Chase will be on site with free chalk kits for every artist and a reusable water bottle, while supplies last. Guests can take photos with a special digital backdrop for World Ocean Day photos.

St. Louis-based chalk artist Kathy Ann Duffin of Kathy Ann Creative will get the activities started by drawing a unique chalk design along 18th Street.

“
We invite people to come to the Aquarium on Saturday, June 5 to show their support of the importance of preserving the oceans," said Diane Bauhof, executive director of the St.Louis Aquarium Foundation. "This event is part of a worldwide effort to protect 30 percent of the ocean by 2030.”

Guests will be invited to encourage lawmakers around the world to preserve 30 percent of the ocean by 2030. Currently, only 15 percent of land and 7 percent of the ocean is protected (source: Campaign for Nature). Learn more about this worldwide effort here: .

ABOUT OCEAN POLLUTION
Plastic pollution poses many threats to the world's waterways. Animals get caught in plastic debris or swallow small pieces.

Plastic releases chemicals as it breaks down and evidence of plastics is found in seafood, drinking water, and even in human bodies. (source: Plastic Pollution Coalition)

Recycling alone will not solve the problem – reducing the amount of plastic used has a much greater impact and will help keep humans, animals, and waterways healthy.

Once in the ocean, plastic debris never fully biodegrades. It breaks apart and breaks down into tiny microplastics that affect water quality. Animals then consume it or absorb it through their skin.

Each year, billions of pounds of trash and other pollutants enter the ocean. The majority of pollutants that make their way into the ocean come from human activities along the coastlines and farther inland, including from the rivers and streams that are part of the Mississippi Watershed that flows directly into the Gulf of Mexico (source NOAA, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Association).

HOW YOU CAN HELP
Use reusable metal bottles instead of single-use plastic bottles.

Avoid single-use plastic bags at the store – bring your own reusable shopping bags.

Participate in river clean-ups in your area.

Encourage the restaurants you frequent to use biodegradable and/or recyclable containers.

Use less plastic overall
-- Instead of plastic food wrap, use reusable beeswax food wraps
-- Instead of plastic bags in the lunch box, use reusable containers
-- Refuse straws or bring your own metal or silicone straw
-- Avoid using plastic utensils

“I can’t believe it’s been 25 years since self-titled album has come out,” drummer Bud Gaugh reflected. “It’s really cool, there’s not a day that goes by that I do not hear one of our songs on the radio, in a bar, store, or in a car driving by. I constantly meet people who tell me that Sublime has helped them through a hard time or has helped them change their lives because of our stories, our music and the messages within our music. It’s such a great feeling to have a connection with our fans this deep. And to think – the record label was actually considering canning this thing 25 years ago?! Man, I bet they’re glad they didn’t. I know we sure are and I know the fans are too! That is a testament to the fans and their love for the band. The reason why we are still here all over the place every day and in your face is because of you, the fans, and we thank you and love you for this. Just look at all the love we’ve found!!!”

“Looking back at the music that was created; I didn’t realize it then, but I feel very fortunate and blessed to inspire and help people through hard times—through music,” bassist Eric Wilson said. “Thank you Brad, Bud, mom, dad, brother & sister.”

“A special thanks to all the music fans who have helped to keep my son's musical legacy alive,” said Bradley Nowell’s father Jim Nowell.

“It is an absolute honor to represent such an iconic legacy and help create these initiatives to celebrate the 25th anniversary of this undeniably classic album,” says Scott Seine, President of Sublime’s management company Surfdog/DKM.

“For 25 years, Sublime has been an intrinsic part of the Southern California scene and bringing that lifestyle and brand to a global audience. We look forward to continuing to introduce their music to a new generation of fans around the world.”

Travis Barker ProjectTravis Barker will produce covers, remixes and collaborate with artists of all genres to reimagine various Sublime songs from the iconic self-titled album.

"We're not trying to write punk rock. We're not trying to write reggae. We're not trying to write ska," Sublime's Bradley Nowell told KROQ in 1995. "We're just trying to write a good song." They did exactly that—time and time again. "What I Got," "Santeria," "Wrong Way," and "Doin' Time" remain innovative staples from the '90s alternative boom. But they accomplished even more: In less than a decade within the national limelightthe laid-back Long Beach trio spawned an entire genre—fusing reggae grooves, punk grittiness, ska energy, back porch folk introspection, and hip-hop swagger. Decades after the tragic death of singer-songwriter Bradley Nowell, Sublime remain an institution: They've sold over 18 million albums to date; and their merchandise, emblazoned with the iconic sun logo, dominates sales at retailers including Target, Urban Outfitters and Spencer Gifts. Most importantly, the music remains timeless—a rite of passage for misfit listeners who refuse to color within the lines of conventional genre.

About Sublime:
Sublime, the Long Beach, CA, reggae-punk/alternative rock trio, was founded in 1988 by Eric Wilson, Bud Gaugh and Bradley Nowell. Their first self-produced album, 40oz. to Freedom, was released in 1992 via the band’s label Skunk Records. The success of that album and heavy radio exposure by Southern California’s KROQ (two years after its initial release) secured Sublime signing to MCA Records in time for the band’s 1994 sophomore album, Robbin’ the Hood, which revealed an experimental ethic more in keeping with cut-and-paste dub than the well-tuned rage of the Cali punk revival. The album performed well at college radio and set the stage for the breakout success of their self-titled third album. On May 25, 1996, however, lead vocalist and guitarist Nowell tragically passed away and the band collapsed, but the eponymous SUBLIME was still slated for a July 1996 release. On the strength of the chart-topping alternative radio hit “What I Got,” the album was certified gold by the end of 1996. “Santeria” and “Wrong Way” followed and enjoyed heavy airplay, and their self-titled album eventually sold more than seven million copies, making it one of the most popular reggae-punk albums in history. Such success spread to the band’s earlier albums too, leading 40oz. to Freedom to double-platinum sales and Robbin’ the Hood to gold certification. Sublime has gone on to sell over 18 million RIAA certified albums in the US, and their genre-defining music and their cultural influence is stronger today than ever before.

Follow up single "You Never Listen" is quickly rising up the Active Rock charts with SiriusXM, HardDrive, Full Metal Jackie and many more of the country's leading active rock outlets supporting, while their most recent single, "Negative Noise", has already garnered over 850,000 views on YouTube and counting, and has become one of the most highly-spun tracks currently airing on SiriusXM Liquid Metal.

- REVOLVER (USA) -
TETRARCH marks a revival of everything that was right in the late 90s and early 2000s.”
METAL INJECTION (USA) -

TETRARCH have risen through the ranks of metalcore with unwavering energy. Blending tectonic drop-tuned riffs and creative samples with catchy hooks, the four-piece have effectively carved their niche in the genre.”
“TETRARCH are on the verge of world domination.”
- GUITAR WORLD (USA) -
“…Diamond Rowe has thrived in challenging expectations and dismantling the status quo.”
- KNOTFEST (USA) -

Produced by the band and Dave Otero (Cattle Decapitation, Allegaeon, Khemmis), Unstable follows the band’s breakout debut Freak (2017). The new album shines not only as a natural step forward for TETRARCH, but a giant leap ahead – an even more focused effort combining bright flourishes, grooving low-end and soaring choruses. Unstable wastes no time igniting with the unforgettable, punching first single “I’m Not Right”. Boosted by frontman Josh Fore’s raw emotion and dynamic vocal style, the track pays homage to the genre’s greats while lifted by the eerie leads of trailblazing lead guitarist Diamond Rowe. Radio-ready, lyrically-relevant tracks like anti-bullying anthem for the ages “Sick Of You” and empowering “You Never Listen” showcase TETRARCH’s hefty progressions and unforgettable choruses. Unstable’s heaviest offerings prove the band’s dynamic assault of varying heavy styles, most notedly on assertive breakneck burner “Negative Noise” – a track that will turn the heads of metal’s greatest riffers with Rowe’s mighty axe attack – and on the melodically chilling “Take A Look Inside”, highlighting the powerful rhythm section of bassist Ryan Lerner and drummer Ruben Limas. The album explores a brooding, introspective side of the band on the standout, melodic “Addicted” and closer track “Trust Me”, which trickles-in supernatural atmosphere. Delivering heavy hit after hit, Unstable is 10 tracks of pure potency and undeniable talent.
