Music From The Critically Acclaimed Documentary "Glen Campbell…I'll Be Me" Wins Big At The GRAMMYs®

Oscar® Nominated "I'm Not Gonna Miss You" and "Gentle on My Mind" Each Score a GRAMMY®

NASHVILLE, Tenn., Feb. 9, 2015- Country music icon GLEN CAMPBELL, with co-writer and producer JULIAN RAYMOND, won the award for Best Country Song for their hit "I'm Not Gonna Miss You" at the 57th Annual GRAMMYs®. The Oscar® nominee for Best Original Song is included on the Glen Campbell…I'll Be Me Official Soundtrack slated for release February 17 on Big Machine Records.
"I'm Not Gonna Miss You" is featured in the Critics' Choice nominated documentary Glen Campbell…I'll Be Me, which follows Campbell's final tour and his struggle with Alzheimer's disease. The heart-wrenching love song is Campbell's final recording and was recorded with the famed Wrecking Crew. Almost lumbering through the melody, Campbell's weathered tenor confesses the painful truths of what is lost, the cost – and the reality that it will all be lost to him, the man who can't remember. The scene, filmed in the recording studio, was captured towards the end of the film when signs of the disease heartbreakingly became apparent.  Watch it here.
Country superstar and critically acclaimed actor Tim McGraw will perform "I'm Not Gonna Miss You" at the Oscars® on February 22. McGraw has won 3 GRAMMY® Awards, 14 ACM Awards, 11 CMA Awards, 10 AMA Awards and has starred in multiple films including The Blind Side, Friday Night Lights, Country Strong and Disney's upcoming Tomorrowland out May 22.
"I'm honored to be asked to sing this powerful song from one of the true legends of the music industry," said McGraw in response to the Oscar® performance.
Praised Rolling Stone of the song, "Glen Campbell has recorded his final song and the result, 'I'm Not Gonna Miss You,' is a poignant, confessional tune that serves as a stunningly personal coda to a career spent entertaining millions throughout the world."
Added the Los Angeles Times, "...the heartbreaking famous last words of a real-life country-music icon as the sun sets on his mind. It seems every year, there's a song that proves transcendent. This year's has to be 'I'm Not Gonna Miss You...'"
With over 7 million music video views and a historic ranking on Billboard's Hot Country Songs chart, the song immediately struck a chord with fans and has been going strong ever since.
Also off the documentary's soundtrack, The Band Perry's rendition of Campbell's "Gentle On My Mind," won the GRAMMY® for Best Country Performance by a Duo or Group. This is the band's third GRAMMY® nomination; the first was in 2011 for Best Country Song and the second was in 2012 for Best New Artist. The sibling trio - Kimberly, Reid and Neil Perry - have had four #1 hits, four multi-platinum singles and their two albums,The Band Perry and Pioneer, have been certified Platinum and Gold respectively.
Big Machine Records is the label home to 2015 GRAMMY winners The Band Perry and nominees Taylor Swift and Tim McGraw. Big Machine Label Group President/CEO SCOTT BORCHETTA serves as an Executive Producer for the film Glen Campbell…I'll Be Me and the official soundtrack.

EUROPE’s place as a legendary classic rock band was platinum-stamped early in their career, having enjoyed an explosive period of worldwide success in the ‘80s, under-pinned by their hit album and single The Final Countdown, before going on hiatus between 1992 and 2003. They reunited and quickly settled into a period of re-establishment which has seen them re-enforce their reputation worldwide as one of the premier purveyors of blues-tinged classic rock with an edge and some kick. Their last album, 2012’s Bag of Bones, saw EUROPE hit the UK top 40 rock album charts and debut at #2 on the Swedish national charts.

War of Kings is set to take full advantage of the global groundwork EUROPE have put in over the last few years.

Joey Tempest – lead vocals, acoustic & rhythm guitar, keyboards
John Norum – lead & rhythm guitars, backing vocals
John Leven – bass, backing vocals
Mic Michaeli – keyboards, piano, backing vocals, rhythm guitar

THE BAND PERRY WIN FIRST GRAMMY AWARD

NASHVILLE, TN - February 9, 2015 - The Band Perry took home their first Grammy®Award for the Best Country Duo/Group Performance.  The trio was honored for their rendition of the Glen Campbell classic, "Gentle on My Mind," a song they actually performed on the Grammy stage three years ago with Campbell as part of a tribute to the legendary artist.  The trio was then asked to record the song for the James Keach directed documentary Glen Campbell:  I'll Be Me.

"Winning a Grammy Award® is not only an honor but it's completely life changing," said The Band Perry.  "It has come full circle since we played this song on the Grammy Awards® three years ago with Glen Campbell, and if you would have told us then that we would record his song and win an award for it we wouldn't have believed it.  We want to send a big thanks to everyone that has helped us along the way including our incredible fans."

There was no resting for the reigning ACM Vocal Group of the Year who made appearances at the Billboard Power 100 party as curators for the third annual GRAMMY Amplifier® Program and the 2015 MusiCares Person of the Year event before they flew to Texas to play a concert at the Rodeo Austin Gala.  They returned to Los Angeles Sunday just in time for the Grammy Awards® Ceremony.

In other news, The Band Perry, Kimberly, Reid and Neil will perform as part of Stevie Wonder:  Songs In The Key Of Life - An All-Star Grammy Salute.  They will share the stage with some of music's finest including Janelle Monae, Lady Gaga, Usher, Ed Sheeran, Ariana Grande, John Legend and more.  The show will tape on February 10th at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles and air Monday February 16th from 9-11PM ET/PT on CBS.

ABOUT THE BAND PERRY
One of the most dynamic acts in music today, The Band Perry has both achieved massive mainstream success and gained major critical acclaim since delivering their platinum self-titled debut. Introducing the sibling trio as a powerful new force on the country scene, 2010's The Band Perry offered up five hit singles, including the quintuple-platinum chart-topper "If I Die Young" and other platinum hits - the #1 "All Your Life" and "You Lie" - as well as "Hip to My Heart" and the gold-certified single "Postcard from Paris." For the band's gold-certified second album Pioneer, frontwoman Kimberly Perry and her younger brothers Reid and Neil delved deeper into an edgy, rock-and-roll-inspired sound while staying true to their Southern roots. Featuring the platinum #1 single "Better Dig Two" and the gold #1 "DONE." (plus smash hits "Don't Let Me Be Lonely" and "Chainsaw"), Pioneer found The Band Perry widening their appeal and continuing to showcase their breathtaking three-part harmonies.  The group kicked off their first headline tour - the WE ARE PIONEERS WORLD TOUR - in late 2013 and quickly established themselves as a global powerhouse, playing hundreds of venues from Seattle to Sweden.

The Band Perry have earned multiple awards from the likes of the Grammy Awards®, The Academy of Country Music, The Country Music Association, CMT Music Awards, and The American Country Awards, and have received multiple nominations from the American Music Awards, Billboard Music Awards, People's Choice Awards, Teen Choice Awards and The American Country Countdown Awards.

The Band Perry recently wrapped the WE ARE PIONEERS WORLD TOUR and are currently working on new music for their upcoming third studio album.  For tour dates and more on TBP, visit www.thebandperry.com.

Royal Blood is a mixture of anguished vocals, ferocious drumming and bass that provides intricate detail as well as a rumble of rhythm. The duo's sound is a result of a lineage that stretches from present day heroes Queens of the Stone Age to the influential Led Zeppelin, and all the way back to early blues pioneers... yet this huge wall of sound emerges from just two men.  In next to no time, the two have earned critical praise following the release of their debut single "Out of the Black" on the band's own label Black Mammoth Records last year.

Kenny Chesney brings The Big Revival To St. Louis!
Scottrade Center – MAY 6, 2015
ON SALE FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 13 AT 10AM
With special guests:  Jake Owen & Chase Rice

Nashville, TN: With nearly two dozen NFL-sized stadiums plays slated for this summer, Kenny Chesney took a good look at his remaining dates and thought about the show he was planning for this tour. Knowing each venue has individual needs – and scaling down from stadium- size, especially the amphitheaters, can remove some of the impact, he chose carefully.

“For all the time we had to create for the Big Revival Tour,” Chesney says, “I wanted to make sure the fans got to experience it. I love amphitheaters and all the fun... But I want to give the fans the same impact with the show, because The Big Revival’s set up to be pretty special.”

Chesney’s non-stadium Big Revival shows will be played mostly in enclosed arenas. Not all the dates have been announced – in part due to seeking the best venues to streamline the production and not lose impact – but an almost complete tour schedule is attached. After a year off the road, Chesney is ready to get back to the fans, starting March 26 at the Bridgestone Arena.

“I can’t begin to describe the difference spending the time and being able to really focus on creating an album in terms of the songs, the production, the intensity,” Chesney says. “It feels like the same way we put this year’s tour together! We had more time to consider what we wanted, so we were able to get more creative and could dream a little more wide open...

“A year away from the fans, whether people realize it or not, is hard on me. I live to play – as much as I live to write songs and make music. So I’m ready to get out there and play this new music for people. I want give them a taste of how good The Big Revival is -- and hear them singing ‘Til It’s Gone,’ ‘American Kids’ or even ‘The Big Revival’ back to me!”

Having sold in excess of a million tickets each of his headlining tours, Chesney is the only Country Artist in Billboard’s Top 10 Tour Acts of the Last 25 years – and that’s with only 12 years as a headliner. After his first stadium concert – 2003’s Neyland Stadium show, selling over 60,000 tickets in Knoxville – Chesney has played 111 football stadium shows in total.

“It’s a different kind of show, a different kind of energy – and what the fans bring in that environment hits every one of us onstage so hard,” Chesney says of the rush. “Every show is incredible, but there’s something about those really big ones. I think we were able to channel some of that excitement into the songs on this record – and I want to see if we can bring that intensity to the arenas and the few amphitheaters we’re playing this summer.”

The Big Revival, his 13th #1 Billboard Country Album debut, already yielded his 25th #1 with the multiple week chart-topper “American Kids,” also nominated for Best Country Song at the Grammys. “’Til It’s Gone,” the follow-up, is poised just outside #1 this week with a bullet.

Even the critics concur. Rolling Stone offered The Big Revival “continuously brings a sense of musical energy and emotional urgency.” while USA Today called it, “a coming-of-age tale full of life-changing memories” and The Associated Press wrote, “avoids the cliches flowing through contemporary country songs by injecting some real-life gravitas.”

“This new music takes the show to a whole other level,” Chesney says. “I’m so ready to get out there with the fans... and I think it’s gonna be a summer you won’t forget.”

Blues Music Is Not Dead

Joe Bonamassa's Tribute to Muddy Waters and Howlin' Wolf at Sold-Out Red Rocks Amphitheater To Be Released On DVD, Blu-ray and CD on March 24

DEERFIELD BEACH, Fla.,-- "They always try to write off the blues; well we've proven tonight that at least 9,000 people like the blues," said celebrated blues rock master Joe Bonamassa who will release his highly anticipated Joe Bonamassa – Muddy Wolf At Red Rocks on DVD, Blu-ray and CD set on March 24, 2015. The exclusive concert experience tributing blues legends Muddy Waters and Howlin' Wolf was filmed at Red Rocks Amphitheater over Labor Day weekend in 2014. Carved into the bedrock of Colorado's majestic Rocky Mountains, the famed amphitheater sets the stage for Bonamassa's fiery delivery of over 2.5 hours of bluesy guitar-wailing and horn-filled tunes honoring the two Blues greats. Playing to a sold-out crowd of 9,000 fans, this marks the biggest show of Bonamassa's career, a major milestone for the bluesman. The Blu-ray and DVD contains over 1.5 hours of bonus features including exclusive behind the scenes footage, a photo gallery, historic footage of Muddy Waters and Howlin' Wolf, and a featurette of Bonamassa and producer Kevin Shirley's trip to The Crossroads.

Unlike any Bonamassa show before, Muddy Wolf marks the start of a tribute concert series that will display a different band and catalog of material that will vary from Bonamassa's music as a solo artist. For Muddy Wolf, songs were carefully selected from the catalogs of Howlin' Wolf, one of Chicago's most influential bluesmen, known for his deep, scratchy voice, and Muddy Waters, considered the "father of modern Chicago blues." Waters was a major inspiration for the British blues explosion of the 1960s, a genre that has heavily influenced Bonamassa's original music throughout his career. The concert features a selection of songs from each artist, followed by a 30-minute set of songs from Bonamassa's own extensive catalog.
Listen Up Denver gave the performance an "A" and said, "Bonamassa came out with all guns firing and did not stop."
The concert features a lineup of players different from Bonamassa's touring band, dubbed the "Muddy Wolf Band" which includes Anton Fig (drums), Michael Rhodes (bass), Reese Wynans (piano, Hammond organ), Lee Thornburg (trumpet, horn arrangements), Ron Dziubla (saxophone), Nick Lane (trombone), Mike Henderson (harmonica), and Kirk Fletcher (guitar).
Of the experience, a humbled and grateful Bonamassa said, "'Inspired' was the feeling that permeated the camp from the very downbeat. It was the gig of a lifetime for me. What you see on this DVD is what it was like to play in front of the largest audience of my career, playing music that I loved, love, and fell in love with again in a much bigger way than I had before."
The concert was presented by Keeping the Blues Alive (KTBA), which Bonamassa founded to promote the heritage of the blues to the next generation, fund music scholarships, and supplement the loss of music education programs in public schools. With ticket sales from the show, KTBA raised over $40,000 for schools across the country.
What was proved on this night, with $40,000 raised for charity and 9,000 fans dancing to Muddy Waters and Howlin' Wolf songs, is that blues music is alive and well.

WATERS ANNOUNCE NEW ALBUM, WHAT’S REAL
NORTH AMERICAN TOUR DIRECTLY SUPPORTING MATT & KIM
STREAM NEW TRACK “STUPID GAMES” ON STEREOGUM TODAY

“The energetic and enthusiastically earworm-y single ‘Got To My Head’ puts smart heft behind its ample (and successful) use of hooky oohs and aahs and yeahs.”- RollingStone

“..one of the most electrifying pieces of power pop I’ve heard in a while.”- Stereogum

- WATERS is excited to announce their new album and Vagrant Records debut, What’s Real. Serving as a follow up to 2011’s Out In The Light, and 2014’s It All Might Be OK EP, What’s Real is comprised of eleven honest and raw tracks reminiscent of alternative rock stalwarts of the 90’s. A full track list can be found below. Today, stream the new song, “Stupid Games” off the record for the first time on Stereogum: http://www.stereogum.com/1733165/waters-stupid-games-stereogum-premiere/mp3s/
“I started writing this album as soon as we got home from touring behind our debut record Out In The Light,” says frontman Van Pierszalowski. “All of a sudden, I was sitting still for the first time in years, and I dove into my early musical influences to find that what I once thought were alternative anthems of recklessness, of angst, of societal alienation, were also perfectly constructed songs. It wasn’t pop. But it became popular for a reason. As a songwriter I began to see that music in a new light.”
What’s Real was recorded over a 15-month period with Grouplove producer/drummer Ryan Rabin as well as producer Carlos De La Garza (Paramore). The result is the perfect juxtaposition of songs that sound and feel big, all the while being incredibly personal and brutally honest. “While current alternative radio is pumping out songs about the ‘best day of my life,’ I wanted to write songs about heartbreak, about finding clarity about feeling stuck in your hometown,” notes Van. “And I wrote it with the hope that people connect with it in a visceral way. In an emotional way.”
From start to finish What’s Real is the epitome of relatable with tracks like “I Feel Everything” that touch on the addiction of abusive and extreme relationships while “Over It” is about finally getting out of it, and “What’s Real” is about the constant struggle to weed out the impersonal and temporary relationships and wanting more. We’ve all been there. Desperate times. When you’d rather be in any situation but the one you’re in.  “When we finished the record I felt like we had made a sonic place. It felt like my bedroom in high school. We accomplished my goal in providing a world for someone who needs a real alternative. An escape.” What’s Real will be available everywhere April 7, 2015.
WATERS has spent the last six months on the road with the like of Tegan and Sara, Cold War Kids, Smallpools, Magic Man and Weezer to name a few. In support of What’s Real, WATERS will be touring with Matt & Kim throughout April and May. A full list of dates can be found below. “Come to our shows. Participate in the energy. We will leave it all on the table. We expect the audience to as well. It’s what I dreamt about when I was 14 and started playing guitar. It’s what I still dream about today. It’s What’s Real.”

“In some ways, this album was four years in the making,” says Colin Meloy, frontman and primary songwriter of the Decemberists. “We were on hiatus, so we had all the time we could want, no schedule or tour, no expec-tations.”   With the ability to work at their own pace, the resulting record, What a Terrible World, What a Beautiful World, is the band’s most varied and dynamic work, both musically and emotionally. Since their earliest recordings more than a decade ago, the Decemberists have always been known for their sense of scope anddaring—from “The Tain,” an eighteen-and-a-half minute 2004 single based on an Irish myth to their last two ambitious, thematic albums, The Hazards of Love and The King is Dead. This time, though, Meloy explains that they took a different approach: “Let’s make sure the songs are good, and eventually the record willpresent itself.”

Holy Ghost Tent Revival has been heralded since 2007 for delivering a fast-paced, horn-driven rock and roll experience - crashing, oohing, wailing, and perhaps even shredding. But how does it all work? It's in the sound! Thanks to tastefully gritty guitars, bombastic drums and plunky bass -- not to mention the sweet vocal harmonies and fanfaric brass of trumpet and trombone -- HGTR delivers catchy, danceable numbers that will leave you humming and grinning time and time again. And it all comes straight from the heads and hearts of its talented young performers: six handsome gents from North Carolina who write dynamic, authentic songs and spend a whole lot of time traveling in a van together.

Gypsy Swinging Serenading Firebreathing Circus Freaks! For the past three years, this Caravan of Thieves has roamed the North American continent recruiting a family of avid thrill seekers at their high energy shows. Driving gypsy jazz rhythms, acoustic guitars, upright bass and violin lay the foundation for mesmerizing vocal harmonies and fantastic stories. It’s theatrical and humorous. It’s musical and intense. It entertains, dazzles and defies classification while welcoming the spectator to join the band throughout the performance in momentary fits of claps, snaps and sing-alongs. If Django Reinhardt, the cast of Stomp and the Beatles all had a party at Tim Burton’s house, Caravan of Thieves would be the band they hired. In the spring of 2008, vocal harmonizing, acoustic guitar spanking husband and wife songwriting duo Fuzz and Carrie Sangiovanni extended their family to include fiery violinist Ben Dean and double bass madman, Brian Anderson completing their colorful vision. Since then, the four of them ran away from home and never looked back.

The music of The Growlers is unmistakable. Sure, you can hone in on some influences baked into the work of this California-bred band. Heck, even they’d cop to a few, like Ricky Nelson and The Clash. But once those same RIYL tags have been filtered through the minds and hands and voices of this five-piece, there’s simply nothing else like it. The Growlers took the phrase “Beach Goth” as an apt descriptor of their music. Sunburned and salty, that term perfectly describes their distinctive melding of reverb heavy surf guitar and Bakersfield-style honky tonk with ‘80s post-punk.
