Budweiser Joins Forces with Chris Stapleton and Folds of Honor to Deliver Up to $1 Million in Scholarships to Military Families during Fourth of July Concert at Fort Bragg Military Post

A portion of each Budweiser sold this week will be donated to Folds of Honor to salute America's real heroes and celebrate the beer's "America is in Your Hands" movement

Last month, Budweiser kicked off the summer by proudly inscribing "America" on the front of its cans and bottles. Now, to celebrate one of the most patriotic weekends of the year, the brand is bringing country superstar Chris Stapleton to the most populated military post in the country and will be donating up to $1 million in educational support to the spouses and children of fallen and disabled service members.

This year's Fourth of July celebration at North Carolina's Fort Bragg will culminate in a show-stopping performance from Chris Stapleton, CMA's 2015 New Artist of the Year, in front of 40,000 service members, their families and members of the Fort Bragg community. Budweiser and Chris Stapleton will present a donation to Folds of Honor, the amount of which will be determined by America itself. Budweiser's donation will come from a portion of the total nationwide sales of America cans and bottles in the week leading up to Fourth of July (6/27-7/4) -- up to $1 million total.
"As a beer brewed by Americans since 1876, Budweiser recognizes and celebrates those who have fought for the liberties and freedom of this great nation," said Ricardo Marques, vice president, Budweiser. "We're continually inspired by the work that our partners at Folds of Honor do every day in providing scholarships to the families of fallen heroes, and we're looking forward to toasting to those who deserve it most: America's service members and their families."
In addition to Chris Stapleton, Fort Bragg's Fourth of July celebration will include performances from Cheap Trick, Natalie Stovall and The Drive. The day before, on July 3, Fort Bragg will host the first-ever Major League Baseball game to be played on a military base. The Miami Marlins will go head-to-head with the Atlanta Braves, bringing one of America's favorite pastimes to the service members of Fort Bragg just in time for Independence Day.
For more information, check out Budweiser on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook.
About Budweiser
Budweiser, an American-style lager, was introduced in 1876 when company founder Adolphus Busch set out to create the United States' first truly national beer brand – brewed to be universally popular and transcend regional tastes. Each batch of Budweiser stays true to the same family recipe used by five generations of Busch family brewmasters. Budweiser is a medium-bodied, flavorful, crisp and pure beer with blended layers of premium American and European hop aromas, brewed for the perfect balance of flavor and refreshment. Budweiser is made using time-honored methods including "kraeusening" for natural carbonation and Beechwood aging, which results in unparalleled balance and character.

  • Fort Bragg is the Army's flagship power projection platform that provides world-class support to America's Airborne and Special Operations warriors and their Families.
  • If Fort Bragg were a city, Fort Bragg, with the surrounding community, would constitute the fifth largest city in North Carolina.

“We decided to call this album Revelation because we want to make music that reveals something to people about their lives and their world,” says Jojo Garza. He’s talking about the new release by Los Lonely Boys, the close-knit Texas trio that the bassist/vocalist shares with his brothers Henry (vocals, guitar) and Ringo (drums, vocals). “As musicians and artists, we’re here to connect with people, and to share our view of things.” Revelation — released on the band’s own LonelyTone imprint Jan. 21, 2014, in association with the respected Austin-based indie Playing in Traffic — is a landmark release for the siblings. While maintaining the infectiously melodic mix of bluesy rock ’n’ roll and rootsy brown-eyed soul that’s long endeared Los Lonely Boys to its fiercely loyal fan base, Revelation adds an expansive range of new sonic elements, e.g. the conjunto touches of “Blame It On Love,” the reggae groove of “Give A Little More,” the rustic acoustic textures of “It’s Just My Heart Talkin’ and the baroque pop elements of “There’s Always Tomorrow.”

SCHOOL OF ROCK GIVES BACK TOUR,
FEATURING AMERICAN IDOL'S DALTON RAPATTONI,
COMES TO THE ST. LOUIS REGION, FRIDAY, JULY 1
American Idol finalist, former School of Rock student and teacher
partners with local school to give back to charity

ST. LOUIS - June 2016 - School of Rock, the leader in performance-based music education, is proud to announce that Dalton Rapattoni, a finalist on American Idol this year, will be joining the School of Rock Gives Back Tour when it visits the St. Louis area on Friday, July 1.

Rapattoni will appear at the St. Charles Riverfest with the School of Rock Kirkwood house band, performing at 9 p.m. on Friday, July 1.

Ticket holders will receive access to the VIP area at front of the stage and they will get to meet Dalton during the Meet and Greet at 8 p.m. prior to the performance. The concert is also free of charge for those not chosing to purchase the VIP package.

Tickets are available at this link: http://www.prekindle.com/promo/id/24545708301763469

A portion of the proceeds raised on the School of Rock Gives Back Tour will be divided among three charities: American Foundation for Suicide Prevention/Greater Kansas Chapter, Rock School Scholarship Fund and New Life Missions Children's Home in Haiti. Dalton has been very vocal about his desire and goal to give back and support causes that are important to him.

School of Rock continues to be an innovator in the musical education industry. The program takes students beyond the classroom and to some of rock n' roll's most famous stages, such as Chicago's House of Blues and Lollapalooza. Dalton Rapattoni adds to the curriculum's authenticity, giving students the opportunity to play side-by-side with a professional musician. Rapattoni's extensive background at the school as a former student and teacher make him an ideal guest to join the School of Rock.

"At School of Rock, we accept students from all ages and with all skill levels," says Scott Rinaberger, owner of School of Rock locations in the St. Louis area. "We know that some of our students will go on to great success like Dalton, but all of them will have a great time and gain new skills along the journey."

Dalton came to School of Rock in Dallas as a beginner guitar student when he was just 12 years old. He became a household name as he reached the Final 3 of a national idol search and it is a testimony to his hard work and to the value he received during his years at School of Rock, both as a student a teacher.  School of Rock is proud to have a relationship with Dalton and honored that he is giving back to communities as a way of saying "thank you" to those that gave to him.

BARB WIRE DOLLS Personify Punk Rock with New Album Desperate - Out July 29, 2016 via Motörhead Music/UDR

Take it from Lemmy, BARB WIRE DOLLS are the future of Rock and Roll!

Pre-Orders Coming Soon

"BARB WIRE DOLLS are the most explosive and exciting new punk band I've seen in decades! They are gonna change the face of music and save rock and roll as we know it!"
- Mickey Leigh/brother of Joey Ramone

"BARB WIRE DOLLS are the new face of Punk. The Dolls deliver real authentic punk rock with 70's CBGB style swagger with an oversexed frontwoman who makes Debbie Harry in her 70's prime look downright homely, while singing like Patti Smith channeling Johnny Rotten."
- Music Entertainment

"If you were bummed that you missed out on the Sex Pistols and Black Flag because you were only one, or not even born yet, here's your chance to catch one of the best bands playing that style today. From their music to their attitude, BARB WIRE DOLLS embody that same spirit of the late '70s punk scene."
- Washington Times

BARB WIRE DOLLS are one of the most vital new bands in music today, representing all that is inspiring and furious about rock and roll. The band intelligently weaves sub-genres of punk, grunge, and metal, producing an urgent sound that is truly unique. Hailing from an artist commune on the island of Crete, the band sold everything they owned and left crisis-ridden Greece in 2010 for Los Angeles, at the invite of legendary KROQ DJ Rodney Bingenheimer. Upon their arrival in California, BARB WIRE DOLLS immediately sold out the world famous Roxy Theatre in Hollywood, boasting a live show that is second to none.

Electrifying rock of this magnitude did not go unnoticed by the elder statesman of the Sunset Strip, the incomparable, irreplaceable Lemmy Kilmister of Motörhead. After seeing BARB WIRE DOLLS live, Lemmy took an immediate interest in the band and placed them under his supportive wing.

Fast forward to today... on July 29, 2016, BARB WIRE DOLLS will release their Motörhead Music debut - their third full-length album Desperate. Pre-orders will be available soon.

The ten song album contains gripping rock tracks, empowering anthems, and hard-edged thrashers, all performed with the classic punk rock energy the band has become internationally known for. As members of Motörhead Music, BARB WIRE DOLLS are represented by Lemmy's long-time manager Todd Singerman, Motörhead's booking agents, and parent label UDR/Warner Music Group. Desperate's release through Motörhead Music serves as an edgy, thrilling first chapter in the life of a label whose mission is to present the most fiery new bands in rock and roll.

Recorded at Sonic Ranch (Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Ministry, Gogol Bordello) and NRG (Motörhead, Foo Fighters, No Doubt) studios, Desperate was produced and mixed by Grammy award-winning producer Jay Baumgardner (Bush, Evanescence, Lacuna Coil) and mastered by Grammy award-winning mastering engineer Howie Weinberg (Nirvana's Nevermind, Red Hot Chili Peppers' Blood Sugar Sex Magik, U2's Pop).

Fronted by the whip-smart vocal and fashion icon Isis Queen (named after the Greek Goddess herself), BARB WIRE DOLLS' dynamic musicianship is blasted forth by former pro surfer and skateboarder Pyn Doll on lead guitar, Krash Doll on drums, Iriel Blaque on bass and Remmington on rhythm guitar.

Since forming, the band has gone on to melt ears and hearts on 700 stages across 22 countries in just under five years - consistently selling out club dates in America, the UK and Europe. Desperate is being released in conjunction with the band's debut performance at Germany's Wacken Open Air, the largest metal festival in the world.

Out to take over the punk rock scene while smashing all misconceptions about women in rock today, BARB WIRE DOLLS' cultural and musical immediacy is not to be missed.

BARB WIRE DOLLS is:
Isis Queen (vocals)
Pyn Doll (lead guitar)
Krash Doll (drums)
Iriel Blaque (bass)
Remmington (rhythm guitar)
