(May 27, 2016)- Portland Oregon’s Blitzen Trapper kick off their Summer tour today as direct support for Willie Nelson at the Banjo-B-Que Music Festival in Evans, GA before heading out on a headlining run in support of their latest album All Across This Land.  The tour will take them through the Northwest, Canada and Midwest with additional festival appearances at the Blue Ox Festival and Logan Square Arts Festival. In other news, the band have just released a new track entitled “Summer Rain” exclusively on Amazon as part of their Songs of Summer playlist.  Rolling Stone called it a “pleasant blast of cool that sounds a bit like Crazy Horse-era Neil Young with its ringing electric guitars and bell-like harmonies.”  About the song, lead singer Eric Earley said "It's remembering hot summers when the rains were a relief, memories from childhood mostly when the days were long and full of adventure.”
