CMA AWARDS NOMINATION

NASHVILLE, TN - SEPTEMBER 11, 2013 - Superstar sibling trio and Republic Nashville recording artists THE BAND PERRY have been nominated for Vocal Group of The Year at the upcoming 47th Annual CMA Awards. 

"We were so excited to hear the news about our CMA Awards nomination this morning," said Kimberly, Reid and Neil Perry.  "Country music is our lives.  We put everything we have into making and delivering our music to our fans, and we are grateful for the recognition from the Country Music Association and our peers in the Country Music community for embracing us once again."

In 2011, The Band Perry took home three CMA Awards for New Artist of the Year, Single of the Year, and the coveted Song of the Year award for their #1 smash "If I Die Young."  Since releasing their 2010 self-titled debut album, The Band Perry has also been nominated for multiple ACM, CMA, and CMT Music awards, as well as earned Teen Choice, AMA, ACA, Billboard Music Awards, and Grammy Award nominations.

Additionally, Pioneer, The Band Perry's heralded sophomore album was just certified Gold by the RIAA selling over 500,000 units since its release on April 2, 2013.   "We are so appreciative for all the support on Pioneer," said The Band Perry.  "We'd like to thank everyone that has worked with us on the album and, most importantly, thank you to our fans, who are truly remarkable.  We couldn't have done it without them."

The 2013 CMA Awards will be handed out at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, TN on Wednesday, November 6, 2013. Tune into the 47th Annual CMA Awards telecast, which airs live on ABC at 8:00 PM EST / PST.
