Los Angeles, CA - Orchestral art rock group The Red Paintings
have announced the first leg of an extensive tour throughout the U.S.,
UK, Europe, and Australia, ahead of the release of their new full-length
studio album The Revolution Is Never Coming (The End Records) on October 1st. The band will kick off their North American tour July 10th supporting ...And You Will Know Us By The Trail Of Dead. Known
for their vibrant stage shows incorporating live art, human canvases,
and theatrics, The Red Paintings are a multi-faceted genre-spanning act
with a lively and visionary approach. The band is currently seeking
submissions from artists, to curate the live onstage art show to

Following
the success of a sold out UK club tour with The Pineapple Thief, the
band will be bringing their intimate acoustic show to the US, before
heading back to the UK to headline the Bizarre Stage at Rebellion
Festival, the world's biggest independent punk and alternative event, on
August 9th. The
extensive touring news follows a busy end to 2012 that saw The Red
Paintings kick off their worldwide campaign with a 16-date US tour and
40-date tour of the UK & Europe.
The band has also been invited to join punk-lords Mindless Self Indulgence
on their massive UK & Europe tour in November and December. The
invitation follows a sold-out U.S. theatre tour earlier in the year,
where the bands established a rapport.
Now available worldwide, the first single taken from the bands' latest release "You're Not One Of Them"
has already picked up steam overseas, having been added to over 140
stations across the UK & Europe, including spins on XFM, Kerrang, Q
and the BBC. Peaking at #40 on the US FMQB commercial radio chart, the
track also currently sits at #98 on the German college radio charts. The
uniquely creative video clip for the track follows a series of
award-winning clips from the band that have been screened at film
festivals worldwide and featured in Australia on the television music

Often receiving comparisons to acts such as Radiohead, Muse, Smashing Pumpkins, and The Arcade Fire, The Red Paintings have shared stages touring with the Dresden Dolls, Mindless Self Indulgence, Saul Williams, The Posies and Mogwai.
