NASHVILLE, TN (April 30, 2013) – ACM New Male Vocalist Brantley Gilbert wrapped up the final weekend of his HELL ON WHEELS TOUR with a recording-breaking accomplishment -- his largest crowd to date. Over 10,000 members of the BG Nation showed up to support the Country rocker on the final stop of his first headlining tour in Columbus, OH on Saturday night (4/27).

Boasting a trail of sold–out arena dates and shattered merchandise records, the massive weekend also concluded with a sold-out show Friday (4/26) night in Roanoke, VA.

The accomplishments are not lost on Gilbert, who said, "Man, the BG Nation really showed up this weekend to send us out with a bang.” He continued, “I couldn’t be more proud of everyone involved for making my first headlining tour one to remember. I can’t wait to get out on the road with Tim [McGraw] this summer and continue the fun.”

Music critics have often noted the relationship Gilbert shares with his fans…

“And the audience, which sold out the room, loved it. They sang along to the hits, from ‘My Kind of Party’ and ‘Dirt Road Anthem’ which Gilbert wrote […] to Gilbert’s own No. 1’s, “Country Must Be Country Wide”and “You Don’t  Know Her Like I   Do.” – The Roanoke Times

“The young, couples-dominated crowd (more than a few wearing T-shirts that read, ‘Stone cold country by the grace of God’) sang along to every song, prompting Gilbert to remove his cap and say,“’God bless you.’” – The Columbus Dispatch

Gilbert will kick off Tim McGraw’s TWO LANES OF FREEDOM 2013 TOUR next week with shows in Birmingham, AL (5/2); Charlotte, NC (5/3) and Raleigh, NC (5/4). The tour stops May 23 at Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre at St. Louis. For tickets and show info, log on to www.livenation.com
