New Album, Tailgates & Tanlines In Stores August 9

Luke Bryan’s current single, “Country Girl (Shake It For Me)” has been certified Gold by the RIAA.  The up-tempo Top 10 hit is the lead single off Luke’s Tailgates and Tanlines album due out on August 9.  Co-written with songwriting vet Dallas Davidson, “Country Girl (Shake It For Me)” is Luke’s third Gold-certified single.

The song debuted at #1 in U.S. country digital singles sales with 105,498 downloads and is the fastest rising single of his career.  It follows Luke’s recent three back-to-back #1 singles "Do I," "Rain Is A Good Thing” and "Someone Else Calling You Baby," all from his Gold-certified album Doin’ My Thing.

The Georgia born singer-songwriter isn’t showing any signs of slowing down soon. After an electrifying standout performance at the 2011 CMT Awards, Luke became the top-searched term on Google that evening.  Luke also appeared with the Doobie Brothers in the latest installment of CMT Crossroads, which aired last week.

Fans can catch Luke on the road this summer with Tim McGraw’s “Emotional Traffic Tour,” and can look forward to his headline tour - “CMT ON TOUR: Luke Bryan Tailgates & Tanlines” launching this fall.
